Arrived fast and easy to install. One call out, the main garage door opener needs to call out this need on the description of the unit. Was not fun to start the job and then have to wait a few days for this part.

Did what it was suppose to do, fit perfectly.

The product was great and allowed me to use the original ceiling hanger. Only problem was shipping never happened as promised. I had to contact Sam's about the product not being delivered as promised. Sam's reached out to me immediately and they contacted the seller. The seller contacted me and shipped out the product. I received about two weeks late. I needed this item and would order from Sam's again without hesitation.

Easy add-on solution to convert a 7ft. door opener to an 8ft. door opener; and Genie company has the best price for it and ships it to you quickly. Piece a cake to install & does what it should.

It was simple to use and easily adapted to the original garage door opener kit. The extension kit came with its own set of clear instructions taking any guesswork out of the equation.

Some prefer the belt drive for being quiet. Honestly, this chain drive opener is super quiet. The extension kit fit perfectly.

The extension did the job for getting the length right. However, I need to contact the company re: the mounted wall button as it does not work after reading and following the directions to program it. I don’t know if it is the extra length, but the chain makes noise against the metal tube rail when working.

The extension piece works wonderful unfortunately the half horse opener I got is about half as powerful as the one I replaced that was also a half horse. the opener itself is not very high-quality

Should be included with garage door opener, could be cut down for 7 ft doors. Just a way to get more money
