I was skeptical at first. My brother and his girlfriend swore by this mattress and constantly rave about it. So I figured I'd try it. At 6'6", 320lbs, and Scoliosis, I have back pain daily. I was always waking up, barely able to move, and would have painful back spasms all day. After the first couple days of receiving the mattress, I was ready to get rid of it. It wasn't helping the pain at all and I saw no difference between the GhostBed and my previous mattress. But after the bed broke in, it's the most amazing bed I've slept in. And the ONLY mattress that is making my back pain more bearable, and some days I have no pain all day. I've only had the bed for a couple weeks, so I'm looking forward to seeing it keep improving. I hate sleeping in other beds, and every time a friend says they're looking for a new bed, I brag about the mattress I have.

Overall the bed is fantastic. Very comfortable and relaxing. Pillows as well. For the foundation I found for the price unacceptable. You call it special wood but all it is is a bunch of 1x2 furring strips that are pre drilled for screws. If I could return the foundation I would. So save your money on the foundation you can build it way cheaper. I gave it a four for the bed itself.

My girlfriend and I wanted a king bed to replace our old queen. After much research I landed on ghostbed because of the durability and material quality advantage over its similarly priced peers (higher density foams, thicker profile, etc). Too early to tell what the long term durability will be like but it certainly feels solid. As a bonus, the lower back pain I was having with my old, soft memory foam bed is gone, which I wasn’t even expecting. I just thought I was getting old. This bed is definitely firmer than other beds I’ve slept in which can seem a little offputting at first but give it a few nights. Your back will thank you.

My husband and I were blown away with the comfort of our new bed. For the first few days I was worried that sitting (I sit indian style on my side of the bed more than I should) would create a dip, or not be comfortable because I felt like I was sinking a little too much. After rotating the mattress a couple of times, it almost seems to be more supportive (not harder, just supportive) than it was when it first arrived. We love it!! Best choice we could have made economically, as well as for our sleep and comfort. No issues, other than the whole family wants to sleep on it.

My husband has fibromyalgia and diabetic neuropathy in his legs. We've been looking for another mattress for a while and I stumbled across one of your advertisements and the man speaking in it sounded exactly like my husband. We've had a traditional spring mattress and he's constantly in pain never able to sleep through the night always would end up on the couch. Hot showers to try and relax him, massaging to try and help him just relax so he could sleepa few hours. Nothing seemed to help his pain. We discussed it and decided to make the purchase of our ghost bed and on nights our children don't kick us out of the bed we sleep soundly, just melt into the bed the ghost pillows are amazing! Everyone I tell about the bed I recommend it. We couldn't be happier with our bed and if we could buy it again we would! Best purchase with our tax refund ever!

This purchase was not quick and I am glad we did our research. Buying this mattress has gotten my wife and the best nights sleep we have had in a long time. The mattress is a firmer than memory foam but it breaths better and does not overheat you. The bed and base was super easy to put together. I would highly recommend this bed to anyone that is looking and needs some high quality sleep.

This bed is really comfortable, and the pillows are wonderful. They come infused with lavender, which I loved but might irritate if you are sensitive to smells (my boyfriend was not thrilled.) As a stomach sleeper, I do sometimes find the bed a bit constricting, and it's not as cool as I'd hoped, but when I lay on my back or side it feels like a cloud. A great bed for the price.

Both my husband and I have slept great from the first night we slept on it. After extensive research, I narrowed it down to Ghostbed or Purple- I couldn't be happier with our Ghostbed mattress. We put it on a platform frame and have had nothing but great sleep.

While all of the online mattress evaluations we read were helpful to us in making our decision to buy the Ghost Bed mattress, my best mattress critic is my back. My back can tell in an instant if the mattress I'm sleeping on will give it the support it needs for a restful night of sleep. Ghost Bed is truly "Best in Class" for back support -- and my back gives it a 5 out of 5 for comfort too. Since we swapped out our old mattress with the Ghost Bed, I'm no longer tossing and turning in an all-night struggle to locate the "sweet spot" I need to get a good night's sleep - the entire Ghost Bed mattress is one gigantic "sweet spot" and offers a consistently comfortable (and firm) sleeping experience -- whether I'm sleeping on my back or on my side. Also, since sleeping on the Ghost Bed mattress for a couple of weeks, I'm no longer experiencing soreness in my lower back. In fact, I don't believe I've been conscious of my lower back lately -- which is how I like it! The Ghost Bed was shipped to us in a compact, easy-to-manage box, which we carried up the stairs and into the bedroom with no difficulty. My husband has also commented on how much he enjoys sleeping on the Ghost Bed mattress too since we bought it, and we were also impressed with the two pillows that were part of our purchase as well; they too are firm, comfortable and supportive. I waited about two months to write my review about this bed and it should be noted that this is the first bed I've bought where I wasn't the second (or third) owner - the first new bed. Although I wish it was a bit softer, I've been sleeping very well in it. My partner moves around in her sleep and while I used to wake up at each turn, the bed somehow absorbs a lot of the movement. As summer approaches we stay cooler than any bed I've ever slept in. I'm very happy!
