I received my mattress three weeks ago, and at first I was a little thrown off by how firm it is, and was worried I wasn't going to like it since I'm a side sleeper. However, it does take about a week or so to get used to the mattress. I believe the "extra firm" it has is a cushion they used since most mattresses will sooner or later lose that " perfect feeling" after a few years. I love this mattress, and so does my girlfriend who was really close to purchasing a mattress from Purple. I recently had a friend buy a purple mattress and it's not a bad mattress, but little too soft for my taste. Ghostbed is amazin! I would recommend it to anyone who's looking for top notch mattress for a great value. The pillows that came with my mattress are also amazing - the customer support for Ghostbed is by far the best I've spoken to in years. Thank you so much for this mattress! I have chronic back pain. On my old mattress, I would toss and turn and wake up in so much pain. There were mornings I couldn't even get out of bed! I've been sleeping on my new Ghost Bed for two weeks and I am in love! I don't feel pain on my pressure points from sleeping on my side or my stomach! The pillows that came with the bed are divine but I also love the extra pillows I bought. They are cool to the skin to sleep on; I'm almost looking forward to the hot Arizona summer! Thank you Ghost Bed for improving my overall health with a good night's sleep!

Very easy to adapt to, firm but cozy. I sink in, but not too far. I was concerned about feeling hot, but it has never been a problem. It seems odd to buy without ever lying on a mattress, but I just decided to take a chance and return it if I didn't like it. After two months, it's not going anywhere!

So I received my mattress super fast and it was easy (and fun!) to take it out of the box. However- My boyfriend and I find it to be a little too firm for our tastes. We are sleeping better- just wish I had a little more fluff on top. I do notice that I am a little cooler at night which is amazing because I normally sleep so hot! Not sure yet if we will keep it, we are still in our 101 night trial. We will see in a couple of months how we are adjusting I suppose. I do want to say that we LOVE LOVE LOVE the Ghost Pillows. They are so comfy and smell so wonderful and keep our heads cool at night. I have been recommending those to all of my family and friends.

We bought a Ghost Bed mattress after looking at several on line. This mattress had a good rating fron Consumer Reports. The mattress arrived as expected. We unboxed it, put it on the bed and cut the plastic and it started to expand. Pretty cool. Our first night on the bed we found the mattress is hard. If I sleep on my back it isn't too bad but I turned several times through the night and woke with sore shoulders. Not quite enough give to the mattress for me. We have added another mattress cover for a little more cushion and that helped but still hard. We will give it a couple more weeks before we decide whether to keep this mattresses. The pillows I like. The Ghost Mattress mattress protector is well made. The mattress is well made, just a bit on the firm side.

This bed is great! My back pain is not completely gone but I don't believe that's anything any mattress will fix. It is however, much less painful in the mornings. Like I can actually get up and turn with no excruciating pain. The cooling technology is awesome. No more night sweating! My arms, hips, & legs stay comfortable in any position I end up sleeping in. Love it!

Bed and bed frame were packaged nicely. The mattress itself is of good quality. The mixed foam feel is definitely different than Temperpedic classic. It’s generally pleasurable, but I’m pushing 200 pounds, and it is still quite a bit too firm for me to side sleep without discomfort, which is a disappointment. If you are a side sleeper you really need to get a different brand or model, the classic is just too firm.

I haven't bought a new bed for anyone in my family since probably 2008. My son desperately needed a new bed because he was quickly outgrowing his toddler one and the mattress was probably 13 years old. My son LOVES this bed and is so happy that he has a new "big boy" bed. In fact, my husband and I fight over who gets to sleep in it sometimes if he gets into our bed. (We really need a new bed as well) My husband and I are trying to wait it out for a new bed but after buying this bed for our son it's so difficult! love it and recommend to anyone. Also, loved the financing option with Affirm. Would not have been able to buy otherwise!

Bought this bed mainly for my husband who is mainly a stomach sleeper and needs the support since he's a bigger guy. I'm small and sleep mainly on my sides. Since getting this bed I've been waking up multiple times a night and every morning with one or both of my arms numb. This is my fault for getting a firm mattress as a side sleeper but my husband sleeps great, which was the main reason I purchased the bed. We have had to add a mattress topper to it to help me sleep but over all its a great mattress. My 11 month old often ends up in the bed middle of the night and she sleeps great on it too. Kinda wish they made a crib size one. So overall, great bed but not good for side sleepers who need a little more give for their pressure points. Customer service is excellent though!!!

The Ghost Bed does everything it promised it would. I guess I just expected more. The smell didn't bother me when letting it air out. It retains its shape and bounces back. I love the soft, cottony external layer. I like my mattresses quite soft, though, and this mattress was somewhat firmer than I expected.
