At first I was worried the bed was too firm, my previous mattress was quite soft, but after a couple weeks of use I can say I prefer it! My husband is twice my size and yet I feel no movement when he tosses and turns at night. It's also still soft enough for me as a predominantly side sleeper. I also thought it would take awhile to decompress, but it seemed to reach almost its full size quickly (maybe 8 hours) and I was sleeping on it the night I received it.

I am a US ARMY veteran, I have put many miles on my back, feet, knees and joints. I had terrible back problems before this bed, how that I own the most wonderful bed ever, my back no longer goes out. I can sleep at night, my PTSD that caused me to wake when someone got out of bed, or shifted during sleep is gone. I can get a semi-peaceful nights sleep now. I stay asleep, that is the key, it is a godsend that I found this product and ordered it on a whim. I wouldn't trade it for the world now, well worth every penny spent and I would pay double for the bed if I had to. Thank you so much for a GREAT product, no a LIFE CHANGING product, GhostBed. Based on the firmness rating we purchased the Ghost Bed thinking it was more to the firmer side. After sleeping on it for a few weeks it falls in the mid range of soft to firm 1 being soft 10 being firmest it is a 5. Everything associated with purchasing the bed was great. We received the bed the next day after ordering. We haven't had it 31 days yet but when that is met we will be sending the bed back. Hopefully the return will be as advertised as no hassles. This bed is a good bed it was just to soft for our comfort. The problem with these beds in a box you just don't know what firmness it will be since there is no standard scale and everybody is different. We went to various websites for testimonials all were different when it came to firmness. We have ordered another bed that is supposed to be firmer.

We had a leep number prior to getting the ghostbed...was leery of trying yet another bed sight unseen...Best choice we could have ever made. So comfortable fast falling asleep, no tossing & turning. No back painthe next day. So glad we got this bed...don't just take my word for it...try it yourself!

I used to wake up each morning with shoulder, lower back, and hip pain. It would take at least an hour to feel normal in the morning. I didn't really feel rested. With my new ghost mattress ALL of that has changed. I wake up now with no pain and feel rested and ready to start the day. My sleep is so much better than I even imagined. I was skeptical of a mattress in a box. I am so pleased with this mattress that I may buy 1 for each of my children and never go back to spring mattresses. Try it. You'll love it.

When My wife and I first received our Ghostbed we were a little skeptical. It was pretty firm compared to the pillow top mattress we had been sleeping on for the last 7 years. We both decided that we didn't really like it but our old pillow top had already been taken out of the house and the Ghostbed was already set up. So what did we have to lose? We decided to try it for one night. When we both woke up the next morning we climbed out of bed with no back pain and the best night's sleep we both had in a long time. Every bit of skepticism was gone and we are very happy with our purchase even a month later. We purchased the Ghostbed pillows also and they are amazing. No matter what position you sleep in they keep your head in line with your body. No neck pain and the slight lavender scent make these pillows the best we believe we've ever laid our head on. We love our Ghostbed and pillows!

This is our second Ghostbed. We bought a King for our master BR, and liked it so much that 2 years later when it was time to replace the Queen mattress we went with Ghostbed again. A comfy surface yet very supportive. We had no problem adjusting to the foam mattress versus our old spring-style.

My husband is picky about beds. He looked online and decided he had to have GhostBed. He liked the return policy and the reviews were good. I didn't care and was a bit skeptical. I must say, I LOVE the bed. I don't wake up with a single ache, not one! We have the pillows too. I thought the price was a bit high on the pillows, but once you sleep on them, you understand how amazing they are.

I admit I was very skeptical to buy an air sealed mattress via the internet. I read reviews and it slowly convinced me to give it a shot. I’ve had it for over a month and I am completely satisfied. The mattress is firm but yet comforting. I don’t get hot at night, which was a fear I had with memory foam. Would recommend to anyone who asked.

We bought a Ghost Bed mattress after looking at several on line. This mattress had a good rating fron Consumer Reports. The mattress arrived as expected. We unboxed it, put it on the bed and cut the plastic and it started to expand. Pretty cool. Our first night on the bed we found the mattress is hard. If I sleep on my back it isn't too bad but I turned several times through the night and woke with sore shoulders. Not quite enough give to the mattress for me. We have added another mattress cover for a little more cushion and that helped but still hard. We will give it a couple more weeks before we decide whether to keep this mattresses. The pillows I like. The Ghost Mattress mattress protector is well made. The mattress is well made, just a bit on the firm side.
