I've had complaints about our previous mattress for years. I finally convinced my wife it's time for an upgrade. We did a ton of research and settled on the ghost bed. She keeps asking me how I like it, because she LOVES it. I have a rather straight forward answer. I don't even think about the bed anymore. I never even notice it. I never think "gosh we need a new bed, my back hurts", or "jeez I didn't sleep good last night". I just get in bed, have zero complaints, and get on with my day. It's really amazing that I don't even have to think about the bed. It just is perfect.

So far I love it but my husband feels it's to firm at this point. We will continue the trial and hope he loves it at the end. The ghost pillows are amazing. Best pillow we have ever used. Thank you so much for finally making a product this comfortable .

My son selected The GhostBed Mattress when I asked him to pick out whatever brand he wanted for his 60th birthday. He needed the California King size and he is beyond pleased with his choice of the GhostBed. I got the GhostBed full size. Easy to take out of the box. Just let it sit out to get to full size after it's unpacked. I let it sit out for a couple days. When the bed arrived and I started sleeping in it I loved it because it was still really firm but had just enough give to be comfortable but it becomes too soft for my comfort. It can be difficult for me to get out of bed sometimes and my back hurts. I recommend the mattress if you like soft beds but for my needs and comfort I need more firmness. Easy to order. Quick delivery.

I spent several weeks researching beds and had ultimately decided on a traditional pillow top. I was preparing to spend a weekend going around to different local stores to see what was available. A friend mentioned Ghostbed which I had previously not heard of. I had heard of the whole "bed in a box" concept but hadn't really looked into it. Ghostbed seemed to get the best reviews in most youtube comparisons and with the sleep trial period I figured I had nothing to lose. I've now had it for about three weeks. I put it on a metal platform bed. I also purchased the protector. The bed deployed itself fairly quickly. It seemed to reach its advertised height within a half an hour. One thing I noticed right away was that my existing pillows didn't feel right for the mattress. Probably just because they didn't sink into the new bed like they did on the old one. I picked up two new ones and later decided to order a Ghostpillow. You really need two weeks to get used to the bed. I'll say that I immediately noticed that I generally felt better in the morning than I had previously. Yes, the bed does feel initially firm but you do sink in all the right pressure points. I had recently started sleeping with a pillow between my knees because of some hip pain but that's gone away. I don't need the pillow anymore. My girlfriend likes the bed and since it doesn't transfer a lot of motion, I sleep better. Same thing goes for my beagle when he moves around the bed. It's a lot less obvious and for a light sleeper like me, that's great. Give it a try. You've got nothing to lose.

We actually ended up with the Ghost Bed after having to replace the Purple Bed due to an allergy to the powder coating polymer they use on the gel inside. First, I love that the GB shipped SUPER fast! It was much quicker coming than the PB. It looks a little nicer aesthetically (though that doesn't really matter all that much when sheets are on it). We love that it's quite a bit thicker, or maybe just more resilient, than the PB. We have a metal base beneath it and my husband had a lot of trouble "plopping" onto the PB because it wasn't resilient enough to keep him from pressing through to the boxed springs before rebounding to the supported sleeping position. It is more comfortable through sheets as the PB has a diamond-ish pattern that you can feel through sheets (though that didn't bother me too much, but I can see how it would bother some people). The GB is a more firm mattress for the type of mattress it is. PB was a bit softer. I prefer soft, but I still like the support the GB gives. Husband loves the firmness of it, and he thinks it's just perfect. We've been sleeping on it for a few weeks and have had no neck/back pain. With our previous previous (regular pillow top) mattress, we were both having horrible alignment issues. The PB was lovely for me, but I also only weigh about 130#. My husband did still have some neck and back issues with PB at about 200#, but he says that he hasn't had any at all since sleeping on the GB. We really love it so far. Overall, I would give this a 4.5 stars because there is NOTHING at all wrong with the bed itself, it's just a little overly firm for my taste and that's a completely personal preference. Even with it as firm as it is, it is still definitely one of the most comfortable mattresses I've ever slept on, AND I'm not having any back pain, so that's great!

been sleeping on the ghostbed for a few weeks now and i still think it's a little too firm for me. i'm a side sleeper, i'm 5'2" and weigh 110 lbs, so i think i need something with a little more give. i wanna love it! and i keep hoping my body will adjust to it. but i keep waking up with neck/shoulder/hip aches. i even bought new pillows after the first week and that hasn't helped. i'm not saying this is a bad mattress. i'm sure it's AMAZING for some people, but it's just not for me

Both my husband and myself are sleeping so much better than we did with our previous mattress. We wake up feeling refreshed due to the fact that we’re getting a solids night sleep on our Ghost Bed. Love it and wholeheartedly give this mattress 5 stars.

Had the mattress now for a few weeks. It's a great mattress! Supports firmly but gives just enough to be conforming and comfortable even if I sleep on my side. Took a few nights for me to get used to it. My old mattress was collapsing. But now the Ghostbed outstanding. Thanks for a great product.

I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical with ordering a mattress online without ever laying on it. This mattress is pretty comfortable, though a bit firmer than my fiance and I are used to. I definitely look forward to climbing in to bed every night. Will provide an updated review after I've eclipsed the 30 day mark.
