One reason that we chose this television is that we were going to install it in a room which gets a lot of morning sunlight, and the description said that it had anti glare qualities. It didn't disappoint. The settings and menu on this television are easy to navigate also.

Can a software update be provided to disable this "feature"? If not, I wish to return this TV for a full refund.

Tv has been ok so far (3 months in). We have a blotchy issue that occurs on people in lighting situations that results in blotches of purple-ish coloring appearing on their skin and clothing. it's recently occurred watching SNL and The Bachelor. Maybe a 10% rate at this point. Service coming out on Monday to look at it.

Samsung seems to be going in the right direction in terms of producing the best quality Tv sets and delivering on quality.

I was originally frustrated with this TV as the standard settings do not work well with standard TV signals. Tried our cable company TV box as well and not good. Turns out you really need to adjust the video settings to make it work with traditional TV. Bluray and Netflix looked great out of the box. Happy now but almost returned the TV because of this issue. I guess I’m a fossil for still using Satellite TV for my main viewing but it even stumped everyone in the store as well. In the end very happy with it now that it is set up right.
