My mother had always told me the fewer the blades the better your chances are at not getting cut or getting ingrown hairs. Well mama was wrong this time. The Soleil Shine razor cut smoothly and even got those annoying little patches you just seem to always get after spending all that time to get a smooth finish. I loved this razor and will definitely be purchasing more!

I was concerned to try the 5 blades instead of my usual 3 blade BIC. However, I have not had a problem with cuts or razor burn, could also be because of the pivoting handle. Even when my razor should have been thrown out and wasn't very sharp any longer.

Well, let me tell you, IT IS worth it! It's worth it if you don't want to spend 30 min. shaving. It good for a disposable, but I like more of a moisture strip than this provides. If I'm travelling I would take this with me though. It does a good job and seems pretty sharp. I do think the packaging for two razors is a bit wasteful.

When you shave your legs my legs were just so soft but with these I have to throw it away after 2 uses.I never have found a razor that I love I always go through so many brands, but these are now my favorite and they cost 5.99 awesome deal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After receiving the Bic Soleil razors in the mail, I decided to do an experiment. I used my regular, replaceable head razor on one side of my body and the Bic razor on the other side. I will mention here that I shave in the shower (just my legs and under my arms) with a moisturizing soap. My usual razor has a moisturizing strip and two blades. I also have very fine hair and sensitive skin. The first feature that I noticed about the Bic Soleil Shine was that the handle was much more sturdy and less awkward to maneuver than my usual razor. I usually drop my regular razor at least once while I'm shaving in the shower, but the Bic stayed fast in my hand. The second feature that I found extremely desirable was that I could make more than one pass across the surface of my skin without the need to blast the razor with water to clean it out. This made for a quick shave that really cut down on a lot of awkward positioning in the shower. Thumbs up! The third feature that made things so much easier with this razor was the fact that the blades came clean right away. I'm not sure how the design was manipulated to allow this, as I have found that razors which have five blades are extremely tough to rinse out. Not this product. This is important because residue can shorten the life of a razor (especially disposable models.) After the shave, my legs felt equally smooth and my hair grew back at the same rate, so the quality of the shave was as good as my usual razor. I did find that I needed a bot more moisturizer on the Bic leg immediately after the shave, but as I used the razor throughout the week, the need for extra moisturizer grew less and less. I would absolutely buy this razor to keep in my overnight bag and for trips. It is a reliable product that can stand up to a razor with a replaceable blade any day of the week. After a bit of research, the razor is a little pricey, but I believe the thoughtful design features are worth it. I wish this campaign was a bit longer so that I could report on how long this razor actually lasts, but I've been using the same one for 3 weeks now and see no end in sight so far!

I am now a disposable razor kind of girl. These razors have FIVE blades!!! Who ever heard of 5 blades on a women's razor? Not only does this razor give you a super close shave with just one pass, it also glides smoothly on your legs. The pivoting head makes getting around your knees super easy!! However, I think my favorite part is the handle! I have tiny hands so finding a razor that fits comfortably in my hand is super difficult. This one does. It's fantastic! I have found my new razor and I will no longer be stealing the hubby's razors!!

I'l be honest, I was a little afraid of so many blades (usually I just use three blade razors), but this worked beautifully! I missed the gel stuff that is on some razors, so I used more conditioner (that is what I use for shaving cream") than I would with those. I love the colorful razors though.
