[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Normally, I can only afford generic brand razors, so I looked forward to trying this 'fancy The packaging was colorful A drawback was the construction. Even with scissors, it was very difficult trying to get the package open. I would put a change in packaging at the top of the list for changes of this product. The razors are brightly colored. The head pivots very smoothly. The cheaper razors have only three blades. These razors have five blades. For once, I did not cut myself while shaving my legs. I think that fact does make a difference. The handle is ok but not.It felt good in my hands, but the fact that it had silicone/rubber on the handle bothered me. Most razors that I have used in the past have had plastic handles that were plain or had ridges on the surface. THis would make recycling the handle difficult to do. Finally,the price of this razor. I think that $6.99 is a bit much, considering that only two come in the package. For me, they were only used once. I don't shave every day but for women who shave quite often, this is not a bargain. So, I would recommend this but with some reservations. I hope the Company can at least fix the handle in the future, not just with this variety of razor but any one that they have in their line, Men or Women's.

I have always had problems with razors for women because there are usually only 2 blades and my legs get cut! The Bic Soleil Shine razors are incredible. They are just what every woman wants and needs for shaving. The 5 blades made my legs so smooth! I also didn't get one cut. The razor is also very pretty and colorful. The razors are comfortable and made my legs feel amazing. Best razor I have ever used! I enjoy shaving my legs now.

They leave a smooth and slick feeling to the skin and does great at removing unwanted hair with the 5 blades they have. It will definitely be something we plan to use in the future. Especially considering the coupons we also received with the bundle of free razors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First let me point out that I am a disposable razor gal and I am not a brand snob. In fact, I currently have Schick Quattro and Gillette Venus disposables in my arsenal so needless to say, I was ecstatic to test out BIC's newest addition to their Soleil line. The reviews are (generally) positive and I was super excited to see what type of shave I could get with FIVE (wow!) blades. The first swipe up my leg told me that the BIC Soleil Shine razor meant business! It was clear this was NOT the razor to use when in a hurry. This sucker cuts CLOSE and I could see why it was becoming a favorite of so many. After several passes, however, the irritation I felt told me that even if my post-shower shave was the closest I've ever had, I was going to pay dearly. Unfortunately, I was right! The Soothing Moisture Strip enriched with Aloe and Cocoa Butter just wasn't a sufficient buffer for the 5 wicked blades on this razor and as a result, I ended up with horrible razor rash all over my legs. There's no denying the closeness of the shave the BIC Soleil Shine razor provides. With five blades, there's no need to do multiple passes. The razor fits nicely in my hand and the pivoting head makes getting around bumps and curves a breeze--just don't rush or you'll be sorry! The issue I have, however, is with the relatively small and ineffective moisture/conditioning strip. With five cutting blades, I feel this aspect of the razor could stand to be beefed up a little bit. Bottom line: I'm just not willing to sacrifice comfort for a closer shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Bic Soleil for years, swapping only a few times to different types to see if I liked them anymore. I received my new razors and immediately wanted to try them. Five blades automatically makes me think close shave. I instantly loved the closeness of the shave on my legs, and surprisingly found myself not even having to shave as often, which is a HUGE plus for me! I plan on buying more of them as soon as I'm done with my first package and have given out a few of the coupons I received to friends so they could try them as well. They are my new razors! Very happy customer!

I didn't have to shave close to an entire week and the flexible head made it very easy to shave the hard to reach places, especially without cutting myself like i usually do. I also love the fun colors that the razors come in. Definately will be my razor of choice . If you are looking for a razor with a close, smooth shave, this is definitely the razor for you!

I liked that the handle was easy to grip and the head of the razor moved with every turn that I made. I didn't get any nicks or cuts. I will definitely be using this razor again & again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried these razors several times and can honestly say I was not impressed. The first time they seemed very scratchy with not enough of a softening strip. The next time....same razor, it was already very dull but I ended up with very nasty bumps on my lower leg. I tried a new one out of the package with shave gel and still the same outcome. I like the pivoting head, the colors are great for the season but I have other razors I will use. The Bic Soleil Shine is less expensive but I just don't like them as well as my usual razor.
