[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used Gillette Venus razors for about 8 years now. They have always resulted in wonderfully smooth shaves, and they last well beyond their intended usage. They are expensive to buy outright, usually, so I was curious about disposable razors for awhile. My first trial with them was the Bic Soleil Shine. I bought shaving cream and tried out the new razors in the shower. Almost immediately I could feel the sting of small nicks but I tried it on different body parts to see if that changed. I wear glasses so I'm next to blind in the shower but I'm totally used to shaving that way. I shaved my legs, felt a couple nicks near my knees and shins. Drying off after the shower, I realized the extent of damage caused by these innocent looking razors. I had a dozen nicks on my legs and other areas. I was appalled. I let a few days pass by before trying to shave again. This time I tried an old Gillette Venus razor with the same shaving cream (my thinking that it may have been a sensitivity to the new cream) but I had a smooth, injury-free shave. So, I'm totally afraid of the Bic Soleil Shine. I will be giving the two razors to someone else to see if they have issues. Maybe disposable razors are not for me. Either way, the results concluded I'll be sticking with Gillette Venus.

However I prefer the to save time by using razors with built in moisturizer strips instead of having to use a separate shave gel. I do not have sensitive skin, but after using this razor my legs were slightly irritated.

It also comes in super cute colors, which doesn't do anything for my shave, like pink and purple. I like the shape of the handle too it was easy to hold and hold on to after it got wet! All in all I will certainly be buying this razor in the future.

I tried the BIC Soleil Shine razors and I really like them. I have burn scars under one of my arms and shaving can be kind of tricky. With a little care I was able to remove all of the hair without cutting myself. I have smooth arm pits and I LOVE it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the new BIC soleil shine razors. Just got out of the shower from shaving my legs using the new razors provided by BzzAgent. The razor was super easy to use with its 5 blades and two moisturizing strips, plus cool looking with the bright yellow handle. I don't use shaving gel just the water from the shower as I shave my legs. The razor did an awesome job and left my legs silky smooth and shiny. The razor was sharp enough to shave both my legs and armpits yet delicate enough to shave my stubborn chin hairs. I definitely recommend the BIC soleil shine razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bic razor is awesome! It will definitely be replacing my previous razor. I love how soft and smooth it makes my skin feel. Using the bic razor is a lot cheaper than the previous razors I was purchasing. I am definitely making the switch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty good razor, although nothing really magical. I find it a bit bulky actually, which affects the manner in which I shave. It's harder to feel comfortable pressing this against the skin as I use it, so I don't get as close of a shave as I would prefer. But the hair I do get definitely comes off easy.

The five blades and lubricating strip were really helpful in getting a close, smooth shave. I have tried other disposable razors in the past and was not happy with them. These work well and are not as expensive as other brands. The Bic Soleil Shine gave me a close shave with no irritation, so, all in all, a great improvement on Bic razors!

No matter how carefully I shaved, I still got razor burn and I still had stubble after shaving. I am not impressed with this razor at all and it reminds me of why I tend to avoid Bic shaving products. It especially is not kind to sensitive skin. I'll stick to my Venus Embrace razors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the Bic Soleil shine is a vibrant fun to see sitting in the bathroom razor. Very appealing at first glance and gives a little excitement to a less than excitting task. The 5 blade makes for a smooth shave, deffintly an upgrade from the orginal single blade baby pink Bic razors I used in my youth. How ever I am extremely sensitive under my arms and even with a good amount of shaving cream I ended up with a bit of razor burn and abrasions due to the lack of motion from the razors head and the moisture I have become used to in my every day razor blades. I gave it 3 stars due to how pretty it is and the sharpness of the blades but this will not be a new top item on my list. I will not recommend but will give out my coupons to friends with teenagers who I believe would get out of such a spiny little disposable razor.
