This razor has 5 blades and I never noticed how big of a difference that makes since I used to use other disposable razors with only 3 blades. The additional blades makes a smoother more comfortable shave. The grip and feel of the actual razor is comfortable and natural and does slip when in the shower. Will continuously buy BIC Soleil Shine razors over and over again!

I got the close shave I need for the summer months, for swimsuit season. I was also excited about the fact It works great on long hair that accumulated during winter. I liked the different colors and the handle was comfortable in my hand during use.

However I prefer the to save time by using razors with built in moisturizer strips instead of having to use a separate shave gel. I do not have sensitive skin, but after using this razor my legs were slightly irritated.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been impressed with the close shave I get with BIC� Soleil Shine?! The five blades give a much closer shave than I've had with my 3 and 4 blade razors. I did not get any knicks and cuts while shaving that I often experience with other disposable razors, so the pivoting head did a great job around the corners and contours of tough areas like my knees. This is definitely a razor I'll be using again and again in the future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the BIC� Soleil Shine for the first time tonight, usually I use a disposable 2-blade, pink Bic razor, I have to say using this razor was a real treat. First I got ready to take a shower, turned on the hot water, got naked, grabbed my new BIC� Soleil Shine razor and realized that I could not open it, at all, so I had to run out of the bathroom and into the kitchen to grab my kitchen shears in order to open the packaging. Once I got it opened, the razor is very pretty, much nicer than my normal disposable razor and looks nice when I leave it in the shower and it fits in my shower caddy and does not fall out through the slats the way my normal disposable razor does. This razor gives a GREAT shave, super smooth and very easy to clean the hair out of it. I couldn't really feel the moisturizing strip it didn't seem super lubricated but it worked awesome. No nicks and the razor felt very good in my hand while I was using it. After, my skin felt super smooth and it easily got the hard-to-get hairs. The only downside for me was the amount of non-recycling material involved with this razor. First, my pink disposable 2-blade razor comes in a 6-pack with a simple cardboard keeper. The BIC� Soleil Shine razor has a lot of plastic packaging and its pretty big for just 2 razors. Second, each razor is about twice the material of my normal disposable and there does not seem to be anyway to recycle these razors, not that I can recycle my other razors either. I would love to see a program where we could send these razors back to Bic to recycle. So although I did love the smooth shave I don't know if I would buy them regularly. I am also interested in seeing how long the razor lasts. I will update after a few more shaves and tell you how the razor holds up over time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given a two pack Bic Soleil Shine of razors in exchange for my honest opinion about the product. The first time I tried to use Bic Soleil Shine, I was in a hurry and wasn?t able to open the package easily, so I gave up and used my old razor one more time. This is where I would give some packaging recommendations: I think it would be best if they pointed out a little better where the spots are that you can peel off the packaging, because it took a little more looking to find them (maybe arrows, or a different color on the spots you grab to pull off). I also think that it would be great if you could break apart the twin pack. That way, when I take out the first razor, I can throw that side away, instead of having to keep the whole package until I need to use the second razor. When I got to use the razor, I was quite impressed. Usually, I have to do multiple passes over the same area in order to get completely smooth. With Bic Soleil Shine, I noticed with the first pass that it was already smooth! This will save me a lot of time in the shower, as I am usually in a hurry, and having to do two to three passes does add up! The razor glided easily over my skin, as well. The handle was comfortable to hold and I had no problems going over any curves or creases. I haven?t used a razor this nice in a long time, if ever. I came out with no nicks and a smooth shave. Bid Soleil Shine is my new favorite razor.

I am not a fan of the three blade Bic razors I have tried earlier, so i was glad to receive a 5 blade razor with moisture strips. The razors are bright and colorful, the packaging is good though too big for a two pack. The razor was fine but this did not give me a silky smooth finish; my skin felt rough. The razor went dull after a couple of uses, definitely not for me.

I did like the closeness of the shave, but I just wish there was more of a moisture strip. I ended up nicking myself twice, which never happens with my other razors that have a larger strip. But overall, I liked it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a mom of 4 kids, so getting time to shave my legs is close to none. So when I tried the BIC Soleil Shine razor, I was amazed. Close, smooth shave, with no knicks, and it was effortless. I usually shave in the shower, and I don't use shaving gel either - but there was absolutely no razor burn. The 5 blades make shaving super fast, the pivoting head helped me control where I was shaving, and I can feel 'human' again (I know all you moms can relate to feeling like this!) The colorful, comfy handle is a plus, making it easy to find and easy to hold! I would definitely buy the Soleil Shine razor again!
