[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received these razors for free thanks to BIC, I swear I saw a light shine down on them. I mean, five blades has to be the Mecca of razors!!! A choir of angels was humming in my ears as I ran to turn on the shower. Ok. That was an exaggeration. I waited until the next morning to try out these bad boys. Honestly, I don't know what happened. These razors scraped along my skin. It was rough, not the smooth shave i had envisioned. I absolutely hated the first shave. But, I'm nothing if not persistent. After allowing my skin to get over the trauma of the first shave, I tried again. Ok, honesty time. �_ didn't feel like getting out of the shower to grab a new razor. So, I psyched myself up to give it another go. It went soooooo much better. Almost like the blades were new. The shave was super close, and I went with a day in between shaves. So, I decided to test it again. With the second razor. And, it was awful!!!! The razors are awful the first time you use them. The second? Well, not quite Mecca, but pretty dang good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've ALWAYS had issues with shaving. Razor bumps, rough skin, having to shave every other day but dealing with even MORE bumps, nicks and cuts. Those problems ended when I opened this package! The colors aren't usually something I look for in a product, but it was a nice touch. The handle was very ergonomical and easy to hold. There are 5 blades that form to your skin and the head pivots to move with the contours of your legs, rather that bounce off of it awkwardly. The surface of the blades are very wide and clean, nothing is put together sloppily. These new women's razors are most definitely my MOST favorite EVER! I can shave every day if I need to and not have a single bump on my legs. I really don't NEED to shave every day because these give you the smoothest and closest shave of any disposable razor I've tried. My legs feel like silk after a shower! A little lotion and they feel magical! Seriously, someone of my coworkers have been asked to feel them, that's how impressed I am with these razors. I really wish I'd thought far enough ahead to get a short video of the first few passes of the blade. I was SO pleasantly surprised that I actually gasped out loud in the shower. It felt SO different right away from all the other razors I had tried. It was so close to the skin, but not in an irritating way. You could really feel the difference! It made for a MUCH nicer shaving experience all around. And the back of my knees are always a hard to get spot, but this razors made a quick and easy job of it. I managed to get all of the little hairs that I usually have to go back to get in the first try. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone that feels like they could get more out of a disposable blade. *disclaimer* I received this product for free, in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. I have been blown away with the close shave that the Bic Soleil provided. While I didn't see the shimmer that was explained, I m sold on the soleil line. My husband is more than ecstatic that I don't have to use his razors anymore :)

I didn't suffer from any cuts or nicks while shaving like I normally do. They are awesome and I will definitely be purchasing them in the future for all of my razor needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I've had this for a week, the Soleil Shine razor from Bic. I LOVE IT. I'm shaving regularly instead of just when I wear skirts. Its so easy and smooth. Probably a combination of the 5 blades and the moisture strip with cocoa butter. This is definitely the razor to get if you don't shave regularly. It will either get you doing so or at the very least not make you dread shaving. Plus its every bit as good as my husband's. I can't stress this enough because I've been using his for a while, whenever I get a women's razor and it comes up not as good as his. This one is all mine. Plus, as you can see its easy to grip because of the contoured handle. So pretty!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I thought of BIC razors, I originally pictured those cheap, yellow plastic things that were made by the same company that makes disposable lighters. They were small, hard to handle, and hurt your hands when you used them. I wasn't sure what to think of these to begin with, because they were made by BIC and my expectations were low. I decided to give them a try anyhow, and see what was up. I ended up really loving these. There are five blades, so you get a nice, close shave. The blades also staid nice and sharp, and din't seem to dull down with one use like most razors seem to do. There is a moisture bar, as well as a nice rubber handle to grip that is comfortable in your hand. The colors were of the razors were also a nice bright pink and yellow, which reminded me of summer and was really fun. They didn't look cheap, or plastic, and actually seemed to hold up. I've only used them once but I fell in love with them, and I'm excited to see how they hold up over time!

They did a lovely nice close shave without missing spots and without leaving any hint of razor burn. The aloe and cocoa butter moisture strip left your legs soothed and smooth. The multiple individual blades did not allow for any missed hairs to escape.

They have 5 flexible blades so when I shave I only have to hit each spot once and I have very smooth silky skin when I am done. There is a moisture strip that has cocoa butter and aloe which allows the razor to glide . The curved handle is awesome you can get into those hard to reach spots without any problems. My new favorite razor!

I didn't get lasting results maybe a day or two but I think these razors combined with a good shave gel you will have summer ready legs for days. I would recommend these razors. they are a great value and a great shave.

I obviously want a close, smooth shave, but price and longevity are also important to me. I was super excited when I first got the Soleil Shine razors because they have 5 blades and aren't flimsy, like cheap disposables. I'll be honest, I don't shave my legs much in the winter so when it was time to break in the razor, it had quit a job ahead of it:-) It was great! I got a close shave, my legs were soft and smooth, and no nicks. I've been using it about twice a week for 3 weeks now and it's still sharp. Most of my disposables get dull or rust over really fast so I go through a lot. As long as the price is right, I would continue to use Soleil Shine in the future.
