[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't believe how well these razors stood up to the test. The first shave of the season, and the Bic Soleil Shine razor got every hair with every stroke! Even the hard to get places behind the knees and under arms!

I was able to get a clean smooth shave. The razor was easy to use. I would highly recommend this product. Sometimes with the disposable razors I end up cutting myself all over or it leaves my skin red and irritated but not with this one. It left my skin feeling smooth with no cuts or irritation.

I didn't like how they don't glide smoothly over skin and need a lot of lubrication to glide and protect from razor burns and cuts. The handle itself id great quality and the razors are sharp, however. I did end up with a few ingrown hairs on my legs that got inflamed which is what made me quit on these. I've had this problem with razors that have no hydrating strips before but haven't experienced it since, and I don't wish to ever again. Especially with summer at the doors, the last thing I want is unsightly arms and legs. I gave the other razor to my sister but she was turned off by my results especially that her skin is more sensitive and dry than mine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I heard I was receiving a new disposable razor to try, I was interested to see what quality it had, I was worried about the number of blades and the closeness of the shave, but it had been years since I used a disposable razor and was willing to give them a new shot! The packaging is not able to be opened without a knife, which is excellent if you have young kids and don't want them getting into your razors but somewhat inconvenient if not. However, the package appears to look like it would be easy to open so I struggled for 10 minutes before I realized there wasn't an easy-open design. They are lightweight and the ergonomic shape is nice. The metal shield on the edges of the blade is somewhat more raised than I expected, which may effect the ability of the razor to give a comfortable shave. The head may pivot, but it's not comparable to my current razor and didn't make much of a difference during my shave. That being said, I did get a close shave with this razor because of its five blades, but the angle of the blades caused pulling of the hairs and irritated my skin. However, although my skin was a little sensitive immediately after my shave, I had no redness or razor bumps the day afterward. This is a decent razor when it comes to throw-aways. It is nice to have a disposable razor that comes with five blades, and if I'm ever in a bind and need to go buy one I will definitely consider getting another BIC Soleil Shine. Nevertheless, I will still stick with my more expensive refillable mens" razor for everyday use. It may be more expensive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Bic Soleil Shine razor and was pleasantly surprised. I shaved both legs without a cut. I didn't have to go over areas multiple times. It wasn't messy like some razors with the big moisturizing strips. It's my new go to razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always used mens razors because women's are angled a little off, these are angled good but could use a little more tilt down I think and a better moisturizer strip. I never bought them before but was aware of the brand and the price is very decent. I let my mom and sister try one and they both liked it a lot, they use to use Gillette but bought a pack of these now.

I was skeptical, because I associated CIC with a company that makes pens not razors. It was a nice surprise. I will keep using BIC razors and replace the other brand I used to use.

The handle is so sturdy, not flimsy like others, and the moisturizing strips are a lot thicker than most others. I ran bath water and decided to give it a try. This razor has 5 blades, which I can tell you all now, has done a wonderful job.I shaved 2 days ago and my legs are still completely smooth as if I had just shaved! The piveting head makes the strides during each shave more simple than I could have ever imagined. I am in love and will forever buy this brand!

I'm looking for value first at $5.99 for a two pack, that's just under $3 per razor, a little high for a disposable razor even with 5 blades. These are also very hard to find in stores in my area. However, the five blades are pretty awesome. I switched from a three blade version after receiving the Soleil Shine as part of a promotion from Bic. The difference was noticeable. My legs were so much smoother after using the Soleil Shine than with the one I was using before. At the very least I would spring for these in the summer months if stores near me would carry them.
