I love the pivoting head- and as someone with very sensitive skin, the aloe does the trick. The five blades provide for a close shave, which is very important especially if your hair grows back fast! My only complaint is I knicked myself where there are CURVES in the body (specifically my knee and armpit). However, WONDERFUL for smooth parts of the body- best women's product I have used for my legs and arms. Much more affordable then a men's razor. I would definitely recommend to a friend or family member, but if you have very highly sensitive skin make sure you use a shaving cream or stick to the smooth areas of the body and not rounded regions such as knees, armpits, and private areas.

No need to pay a fortune for expensive razors when these are even better. Will totally be buying these when I need a renew! One thing that could have been better was the moisture strip.

This also helps because my skin doesn?t get irritated from repeatedly going over the same section. The packaging and design is so cheerful. I love the bright color, and it is effective. It?s reasonably priced and it?s a great value so I can see myself buying Bic Soleil again. It puts me in a good mood when I reach for it - love the design!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll be honest - the idea of a five-blade razor freaked me out at first. I, who am known for accidentally nicking myself with safety razors, assumed there would just be 5x the opportunity with for me to nick myself with the BIC Soleil Shine. Fortunately, that doesn't appear to be the case! The handle is nice and comfortable, which probably helped those five blades zoom right over my furry legs (listen, after weeks of going from 70 degrees for one day to 40 degrees forgive, one doesn't take the time to shave as much as she normally might). I'm looking forward to seeing how long I can (reasonably) go between shaves, but my legs are *amazingly* smooth, so I have high hopes!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On day one, I was very impressed with the closeness of the shave. I have to shave every night before bed or I cannot sleep. The BIC� Soleil Shine?cut so close that I could skip a night! The handle was very comfortable but I was not impressed with the pivoting head. It did not pivot enough for the curvy parts to be shaved without irritating and cutting. By the third night, I noticed that my legs were really drying out and shaving began to hurt. The aloe strip was not working as well as other brands I have used. It did not dispense much lubrication for the shave. I continued to use the one razor for about 10 days (along with lotion or oil on my legs after showering to moisturize). My other razor only lasted about 7 days (and didn't require lotion or oil afterward). I really liked this razor at first but over time, the cons seemed to outweigh the pros with this item and I was not impressed enough with this razor to recommend to others and went back to my old store brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am officially in love with the new razor. I have been a BIC user for quite a while now. Usually buying the 4 packs of the regular BIC Soleil razors. I have always like the head control of the razor and the longevity of them, so when the offer came to try a new one of their products I couldn't say no. Worst case was they would just further my positive opinion of their brand and what do ya know, thats exactly what happened. Having just bought and went through a store brand pack of razors that called themselves comparable to the BIC razors I was ready to go back to a nice shave. The store brand didn't even come close to the greatness of BIC razors let alone these new Shine ones. The closeness of a shave I can achieve from these is really like none i've experienced in the past. I can now go longer between shaves because it is that amazing. But even with the closer shave my sensitive skin is not suffering from any extra dryness or anything that might be thought to occur. The head control of these larger razors is still just as nice as the regular soleil that I had loved before. I am definitely a solidified customer of BIC for life. These are great, I do wish they would have more than 2 in a package but besides that, i'm loving it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Soleil Shine razor from BIC isn't just a pretty product (although the cute design doesn't hurt!) Every stroke from this razor was a close, comfortable shave that left my skin feeling soft and amazing. With other razors I have had to spend time going over the same spot to get the same kind of results that the Soleil Shine can give me in a single stroke. The pivoting head makes it a lot easier to contour to the skin, which is fantastic for that tricky armpit area that everyone hates. With other razors I usually end up leaving with all kinds of nicks and cuts but the Soleil was an effortless, pain-free shave! This product is definitely worth it and I would recommend it to anyone.

We have tried many different types and brands and love the BIC brand the best but this time BIC has outdone themselves. This is the best shave we have gotten without having to pay an arm and a leg for the razor cartridges. I can now save money and get the best shave. I will definitely be using the BIC soleil shine razors from now on.
