[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know I am not the only woman in the world who has turned to embarrassingly buying men's razors to get a close shave. I got the idea from my sister and friends who like me, have fast-growing thick hair that pops up after 1 day of smooth legs. I was content with 4 blade men's razors and decided to stop the search for the perfect razor there. However, I recently tried a BIC Soleil Razor and realized how much I was missing from a comfortable razor. I realized that there a women's razor out there that not only gives a long-lasting close shave, but provides comfort and flexibility that I would never get from my previous razors. It's formulated for a woman's body so it leaves skin silky and smooth versus just a clean shave. It also has a pivoting head for those hard to reach places I would always nick myself at (like behind the knee). I'm happy to say I am converting back to a woman's razor thanks to BIC Soleil Shine!

Whenever I hear the brand Bic" I immediately think of cheap blue razors that you get when you forget yours - the ones that used to be standard at the store. I have to say - before trying this product I was purely a Venus razor kinda gal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't usually use disposable razors cause they leave my skin chewed up and bleeding,but try the new pretty BIC SoleilShineSmooth, it left my skin baby smooth all over I loved it,I found my self rubbing my legs all night! It seem to glide across with such easy not catching in stubble but cutting through.the handle fit nicely in my hand and in such pretty colors of pink and yellow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have previously used other variety of BIC Soleil razors, and have always been a fan. These BIC Soleil Shine razors are no exception. The five blades provided a very close shave, and I did not have to go back over any areas a second time. The pivoting head is similar to that on other BIC Soleil razors and works well to keep the blades even with your skin. The handle is also very similar to other BIC Soleil razors and is easy to grip onto. The one thing that I do not like as much about these five blade razors is that there is not a smooth plastic guard on either side of the blades like there is on some other razors, so it does not feel quite as smooth on your skin. I did not have any trouble with nicks or cuts, but the shaving experience just did not feel quite as smooth.

The 5 blades are great in providing a close slick shave with no bumps or burn. The handle is designed to provide a comfortable yet firm grip which makes holding on to this razor a breeze. I am use to using the moisturizing strip razors and this one does a pretty good job at that. Im still using the first razor even after several uses. I would recommend this razor to women who are looking for a good disposable razor. Mine came in a two pack so it would be great for a vacation or getaway.

I used it in the shower with a good thick shave cream as others have complained about nicks and cuts. I found that the 5 blades and pivoting head gave me an incredibly close shave without any cuts or irritation. My skin felt really smooth and the handle was a nice size that was easy to hold and use. The comfort strip adds another level of protection and comfort, the 5 blades make for a very close shave and the pivoting heads contour to every curve. Great product and highly recommended!

I have always used BIC and loved them but this is the first time I've used Soleil Shine. I love that it has more blades for a smoother, closer shave that leaves my skins so soft and smooth!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I normally use BIC Silky Touch disposable razors, which are inexpensive because they only have two blades and a straight plastic handle. So, when given the opportunity to try these, I was excited. Five blades, pivoting head, and ergonomic handle? Sign me up. I was pleased with the performance of the razor. First, the handle is amazing. There are two separate grip areas on the handle with a textured patch to place your thumb or forefinger so that it doesn't just slip out of your hand. That is a major plus especially if you're like me and shave while you're in the shower. The pivoting head is great because it's much easier to get around problem areas like your ankles or behind the knees. The five blades give a much closer shave than the two blade razors I am accustomed to. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because although these razors are very comfortable to hold and feel good against the skin, I didn't notice a huge difference in performance against less expensive razors specifically when used on my legs. The end result was about the same. It did provide a closer shave under the arms and at the bikini line, but not a significant difference. Still, these are great razors and I highly recommend them!
