While I am not crazy about the Febreeze scent, this litter clumps tight and quickly and I can not smell cat urine with this product. Other litters I have tried allow the smell of urine to invade the area. I clean the cat box twice per day but still can smell the urine. With this product never a smell. The cats like it and I love the no stink.

While using the liter box, my cats love to use the exact same spot over and over again. Fresh Step is the only cat liter that can handle it. Huge clump stays together! Great odor control. Also, other brands tend to stick to the long hair on their paws! Never happens with Fresh Step.

I have been using fresh step since i got my cats. I was using the fresh step scented, which was great. my house didn't smell like cat urine and poop and the cats smelled great after they used the liter. Since adding febreze to your litter i am very unhappy. my house smells like cat urine and poop and the cats no longer smell good after using the box. I have switched to another brand of liter in hopes that will cure the nasty smells. I used to recommend fresh step to my friends when they asked about liter, now i am the one asking what liter they are using. PLEASE SWITCH BACK TO YOUR SCENTED LITER.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I buy this at my local Sams Club, at least 4 plus bags of it. It works pretty well given I have 8 indoor cats. It dont completely block the smells but i do the litter boxes every other day, and no more than every 3rd day so its easier and makes it last longer and helps with the smell longer, usually. Lol. Overall pretty good product that is worth the money. Bags could be made easier though, i cut the tops off and use a old plastic cup to put litter back in the boxes but (unless cut even more which i cant bc my cats will try to use it as another box) it dont open wide enough.

Bought this litter after switching from pine litter due to my kitty having an allergy. Very happy with the minimal tracking outside of the box (do have a mat down) and no clay between toes. Scent is pleasant, but not overpowering. Cats had a very easy transition to this litter!

I think I would rather smell cat pee than this stuff. Cats have sensitive noses so I can’t imagine having to walk into this stuff and do my business!! I can smell it on their paws so I’m sure they’re ingesting toxic fragrances. When will these companies realize that not all people like their houses smelling like a can of air freshener....just the absence of what is in the box!!! Will go back the the good Dr. E....

We have tried every brand out there and this is by far the best. It stays fresh as long as we scoop regularly. We literally get the most out of the litter because we use it all up. Other litters, after a few uses, even when scooping regularly, start to smell. Not this one. We get about 30 days use out of a 42 lb bag and we have 2 cats.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, my cat seems to really enjoy this litter. I don't know if it is the fresh scent or what, but she loves it. Our last batch of litter she avoided like the plague. I love how the Total Control with Febreeze eliminates the odor so well! Nobody can tell I have a cat when they come into my house (other than Camden cuddling up on their legs as they walk in).

I have 6 rescue kitties, all indoors only. Somedays it is really bad in the litter room; especially if they have been eating cat grass or sardines. One of my kitties has health issues and at times really makes a mess! To date, no one has ever been able to enter my home and say "Oh you have cats"! All the Fresh step products are great; this newer one is the best yet!
