I have 4 cats - a mother & 3 kittens. I use the Total Control Clumping Cat Litter and it works like a charm. There is absolutely no dust, the clumping action is excellent and odor is controlled for days longer than any other brand I have tried. Thank you, Fresh Step!

I buy this litter for my cat Ichi and the smelll is great, her paws always has a fresh scent and the room her cat litter is does not have any bad odors. The litter clumps perfectly and there is no mess. I love the long lasting features of this litter.

I have been using Fresh Step for years and have yet to find any competing litter that stacks up anywhere near the quality of Fresh Step. I have 6 cats and will not use any other litter any more. They love the texture, and I love the odor control. It's easy to scoop which is always a plus, because let's face it, NO ONE likes scooping the litter box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been buying this for months , I tried 3 other brands , this one does what it says. My Lucy loves it! She’s really picky ,she has to have 2 separate boxes 1 for solids one for liquids, I have to totally clean the boxes every 2 weeks. This litter stays fresh for the entire time. I add litter Once a week, a cup in each to maintain the right depth . She makes me screen the litter 2x a day, i love cats! They are totally wacky!

Back on Fresh Step and couldn't be happier. My family has been using Fresh Step ~exclusively~ since we got kittens in 2004. I was young and naive, and I didn't really appreciate just HOW EFFECTIVE this litter is. When I got a kitten last summer to keep my pup company, I started him on Fresh Step out of habit. He took to it right away! But I figured I would experiment a bit and took some time to sit down and read some reviews. I gave a highly rated flushable litter a try. People RAVED about it and said it was just marvelous . . . Let me tell you, it was the WORST! The litter itself SMELLED SO BAD, and my kitten was obviously as turned off by it as I was. He was in-and-out of the litter box as fast as possible, and started leaving his "presents" uncovered making the smell even worse. And I scope twice a day!!! To add insult to injury, the litter got dust everywhere and tracked all over the house. I was committed to using what I bought, but I FINALLY finished it up a couple of weeks ago. What did I go back to? FRESH STEP. This 42lb bag is the perfect amount for my massive litter box, and it doesn't have the same "leakage" issues that I have had with boxes in the past. Also, with this I can top off my litter and easily seal and store it. My house doesn't smell AT ALL anymore, not even right after a dump. The tracking is minimal and easily swept or vacuumed up when I go to scoop. Never has the saying "you don't now what you've got 'til it's gone" been more true. I'm just glad I could go back. And I will never stray again!

In our busy apartment the litter box is in the bathroom. The space is small and the floors get wet but it's the best getaway for a cat to do his business. Before discovering this particular brand, I was getting overwhelmed with daily problems caused by the litter. The smell was awful and made worse by the small space and litter tracked and scratched on to the flooring always turned to a sludgy mess. Needless to say the odor is gone and no more sludgy mess to step in. The Fabreze scent compliments the area.

While using the liter box, my cats love to use the exact same spot over and over again. Fresh Step is the only cat liter that can handle it. Huge clump stays together! Great odor control. Also, other brands tend to stick to the long hair on their paws! Never happens with Fresh Step.
