We buy these frequently and they're really the only reason we chose a Sam's club membership over their competitors. Not sure why they suddenly chose to get rid of them. Might switch wholesale memberships now.

My super picky eater won't touch chicken or ground beef. After trying a sample, she became obsessed. They only easy way for me to get her protein. Please bring them back to Sam's!!

For decades, the "Big Mac" served as the benchmark of unhealthy food. The Big Mac remains undeniably delicious and unquestionably bad for you to eat. It epitomizes THE standard of comparison of unwholesome food engineering. “Don’t eat THAT! It’s the same as eating four Big Macs!”, an exhortation familiar to that served generations.. Now we have Beyond Meat (et. al) with its growing list of suspiciously delicious meat’ish facsimiles. Beyond Beef is a wonderful concoction that meets the complex criteria of appearance, taste, aroma, palpation and umami—this last one arguably the most diabolical to reproduce convincingly. Indeed, the Beyond Meat Beyond Beef product likely may fool your none the wiser Big Mac-lovin’ meat’n taters acquaintances! And that’s not nuthin’. Beyond Beef represents the PINNACLE of engineered food, displacing the Big Mac insofar as contrived flavorful foodstuff is concerned. Whether or not Beyond Beef and its competitive kin will share similar health detriment has yet to materialize. We’re in for a reckoning in this regard—just wait. You read it here first. Bottom line: Adherents of a plant-based diet who seek to sate a craving for hamburger (or the recipe calls for it) AND want an affordable, convincing, and yummy imitation thing to meet those requirements need merely to grab a pouch full of the Beyond Beef flavorful contrivance of manufactured-in-the-laboratory edible reproduction meat stuff!

All true American foods are available in sack form, whether it be produce or flour or potatoes or mediocre hamburger patties. With the transition from dainty twee plastic dishes treating each little puck of non-meat like some sort of heme-less snowflake, Beyond Burgers can now proudly exist in the American freezer without being either snooty or an object of mockery from the other foods. They are a star in the firmament of my freezer and you can come take them from my cold dead vegetarian hands...unless Impossible Burgers get cheaper.

I bought the two pack at the grocery store to see how they were. I had already tried the breakfast sausage patties, so I was sure I would like these. I did like them, and I will be buying the big package this week. I liked the consistency, and I thought they tasted good. I did not think they tasted like a burger, but they did taste good enough to earn a spot in my freezer. I put a slice of pepper jack vegan cheese on mine, and it was really good. I’m not a vegan but I have a lot of allergies, and I’m watching my cholesterol intake, so this was a good choice. I haven’t tried everything in this brand, but the ones I’ve tried have been good. No one else in my family would try them, but that leaves more for me!

The company has definitely done their research. I've been buying these patties for a few years now and the last time I tried them, WOW! This was a step up in flavor and texture. The patty was extremely moist & tasty. I let the patties "rest" on the counter for about 20-30 minutes before pan grilling them. I just wish they were in stock on my last visit to the store.

A solid "meh". You can see what they were aiming for in the flavor notes, but the texture and mouthfeel are way off. It's basically a paste that you have to cook *very* precisely to have it come out halfway right. There is zero forgiveness, it will go from mushy paste to hockey puck very quickly if even slightly overcooked. If you are using a countertop clamshell-style grill you need to use the cooking spray because they will stick to the top and bottom cooking plates like glue. They are passable if you are trying to go meatless but they are nothing like a real beef or turkey burger in texture or in real-world taste. Also, you cannot pull the same trick you can with meat burgers to microwave them from frozen for 20-30 seconds before grilling to speed up cooking. They literally turn to paste. I'm going back to turkey burgers. I'll finish the bag but I'm not getting them again.
