I am a registered dental hygienist and I have had this brush for less than a year, using it twice daily. The power button (rubber) has fallen off and the brush will no longer charge. I also bought two other Oral B brushes for my family members—one of those will also not charge after only one week of use, and the other does charge, but no longer oscillates the brush head, rendering it useless. Between three people and three Oral B brushes, we do not have one working brush. Back to Sonicare I go.

I'm sure it's a great toothbrush for many folks but did not work well for me. (1) the app did not properly pick up the activity i was doing - i mean, maybe it was accuratre, but I do not think it was, saying i did not get to an area of my mouth which I, for sure, covered (2) the every-use recommended cleaning of the brush head and electric portion (handle) is a pain (3) I find the brush head to be thick to the point that I cannot brush without making a mess I will be going back to my old brand. But I do really appreciate the money back guarantee. I've returned the brush at my expense and now need to wait 6-8 weeks for a refund.

This brush changed my life!! I went for my 6 month checkup and needless to say my hygienist was not happy! She stressed the electric brush and told me to do research. I came upon the IO9 and made the leap. Kinda expensive for a toothbrush?? Best money ever spent!!! Liking the app, but loving the way my teeth feel!!! Not just when you brush but ALL day!! What's there not to like???..Use this with the Detoxify toothpaste and Gum health mouthwash...total winner every time!!!

Very gentle, it did not cause gum bleeding. The unit has a nice weight to it, and operation is very quiet. It feels good in my hand. I really dig the AI they created for this.This model not only lights up green when I am applying the right amount of pressure, it also frowns at me if I haven't spent time brushing. It tells me when my job is done. It pairs to my phone via Bluetooth. The companion app is amazing as well, with a lot of features that help me be mindful of my mouth health. I love the goal based setup that focuses on cleaning. The whole system is very encouraging, something that we as adults give but do not get very often.

I love that it times you so that you are brushing over 2 minutes. This product is easy to you and I love it and will definitely recommend to all my friends and family.

Love the Sensitive setting but the brush head is too large for my mouth and teeth. Oral B needs to manufacture more compact head sizes similar to their older styles because more than half the population is female and some of us have smaller jaws; mouths; teeth. This brush head is just too large and scrapes my gums. Not a pleasant experience. Would love the new iO if the brush head was smaller.

I have been using this now for about 3 weeks. I previously had the I07. I now have the i09 and I really like it. love the features on the app because it is a great help to brushing your teeth. I am able to brush my tongue as well as my teeth. I love the tong feature. It shuts off when you have reach the appropriate time in brushing your tong. The app also lets you know if you are brushing your teeth and getting them clean by showing the progress of your brushing. The timer is great so that you don't brush too long, but just long enough to get the right cleaning. When I brush my teeth they feel so smooth and clean. There is such a difference in using the OralB i09 and using a manual toothbrush. I am glad that I have switch to the Oral B. My teeth have never felt and looked better.

I’ve had this amazing toothbrush (black onyx) for a couple of months now and my teeth have never felt cleaner! I love the way it tells you if your brushing too hard or if you’re brushing just right. I love how you can change the color of the light when it’s on (I love the pink). I love the smiley face when you brush for the 2 minutes and the sad face if you don’t. I love the different settings it has. I use “gum care” most often because my gums are sensitive. There’s so much to like about this toothbrush, I just can’t name them all haha oh and both of the chargers are really cool too! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an electric toothbrush that isn’t loud and that works great! The only thing I don’t like too much about it is the price! But it is worth it, if you can afford it. I love that they work with Affirm so I could make 4 equal payments! I want to get the whole family eventually!!
