[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love brushing my teeth with this toothbrush. My teeth always feel clean and my mouth feels refreshed. I love that it lets you know when you are brushing correctly by the color changing ring around it. And the timer makes sure you are brushing for the right amount of time.

As a dental student, I was excited to try this cutting edge and sleek toothbrush that seemed to “have it all”. I’m always looking for products to recommend to my patients to make their oral hygiene more effective and enjoyable. However, after using this toothbrush for only about 2 or 3 months, I was absolutely disgusted. I was consistent about rinsing the toothbrush off thoroughly after every use and keeping it clean, but that wasn’t enough to keep away black mold from growing inside the mechanical brush head. I ran the toothbrush under water and happened to notice small black specks falling into the sink. I removed the brush head and the inner workings of both the head and the electric toothbrush connector (cannot even be removed) we’re caked in black mold. Unlike other electric toothbrushes, this one circulates water and toothpaste through the brush head (that goes into your mouth) and the connecting pieces that get dirty very quickly. This is resulting in black mold specks actually entering your mouth directly which is a huge health risk and frankly disgusting. I’m severely disappointed in this product and the health hazard it poses for any customer using it, especially for the high cost. Please do not buy this brush until they resolve this obvious issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Io7 a few weeks ago and I couldn’t be more pleased. It has several settings you can choose from to brush your teeth on each feeling amazing. It also times you 2 minutes. My teeth have never felt cleaner

Not to mention its also blue tooth compatible and has its own app. This tooth brush is definitely a i keeper. I think I'm in love

The charging station is magnetic,and it has seven different settings to choose from depending on what type of cleaning you prefer. You can also connect it to your phone through the Oral-B app. It also includes a charging travel case which is a plus! Leaves my teeth and gums feeling very clean.

The high price is ongoing - io heads are considerably more expensive than others- but should be justified by the app. Unfortunately the app regularly misdetects which portion of the mouth the brush is on, resulting in unreliable guidance on cleaning. Hopefully this will be resolved in a future update.

My wife and I both upgraded to the iO 9 series from standard Oral B electric brushes and we can not believe the incredible difference these new brushes make. Our teeth feel cleaner than they ever have before. It’s like daily having the smooth clean feeling after leaving the dentist every six months for a cleaning. Simply amazing. I think my wife was more impressed with the difference since she wasn’t as excited about paying the higher price and she is much more frugal than I am. But the price is totally worth it to her now. I would highly recommend this tooth brush to everyone. The app feature is a cool idea and I have set that up on my iPhone but I have yet to utilize the various programs and routines it offers. The brush by itself has so many features for various cleaning levels and the light indicator tells you if you are pressing too hard or too soft. Very nice feature.

There are a lot of great things about this toothbrush, but there is one obvious major flaw that ruins it for me. When you use it, there are holes along the head of the brush that go directly in your mouth and get wet. These holes are IMPOSSIBLE to clean, and when water sits in them it forms mold. So after a few weeks of using this brush, you will literally be able to taste any mold that grows inside the brush head. It's disgusting, unhygienic, and really difficult to work around.

Each time I brush my teeth I am now left with that after dentist feel and people have already started to compliment me on how whiter my teeth look since starting to use this toothbrush. I highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who likes data and numbers, a toothbrush that provides a look at the quality of my brushing in an app is a dream come true. The 5 brush modes are great as I know that I have more sensitive gums than most, and really appreciate a smart toothbrush that is supposed to address that. I usually use just a standard toothbrush and brush for about a minute, so it is a little different to brush for two, and to have the toothbrush itself signal when to switch. I have a few problem spots so I'm hoping this will help me ensure I get those areas every time! I'd recommend this to anyone who needs to up their brushing game and especially those interested in diving into the app.
