I planted EZ seed in well-prepared ground more than three weeks ago, and have watered and monitored it consistently ever since. There are now still only patches of grass, mostly bare ground and the weeds have pretty much filled in the rest. I am sorely disappointed! I have added regular grass seed to the areas now hoping that something will grow to fill in the bare spots. I would like my money back - is the product "Guaranteed to grow?" because it has not. LOOK AT THE PICTURES and see for yourself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a heavily sloped back yard with more moss than grass due to also being heavily wooded. I wanted to get more grass on the sloped areas to help with traction (moss can be very slippery). It grew in patches. I am not sure if it was the products quality, as I have always had good luck with Scott's products, or our extreme conditions. I am leaning towards our extreme conditions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The grass seed came up in about a week and filled in fairly quick considering I did this in late October. The mulch did help it stay moist. The biggest issue I had was that it says covers up to 85 sq ft and I'm not sure it even covered 60 sq ft. Given the cost of this product and the amount that it covered, it isn't the greatest value. But if you just have small patches to fill in and need it to fill in quickly, this will work for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotts EZ seed patch &repair sun and shade ,was very easy to use .easy to tell when needed water and grew in to existing soil very well. I only needed to scratch existing area with a hard rake before shaking seed around. this product is great for small patches. I would advise to use another Scotts product for very large areas.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sprinkled this EZ Seed on a few bad patches I had in my lawn and within 5 days new grass was sprouting! Roughed up the dead grass and soil, sprinkled this seed, and watered. It was an EZ product to use and appears to get great results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After doing some house remodeling, we ended up with a few bare patches on the back lawn where saw horses were placed. We tried the EZ Patch and Repair and with a little extra water, the bare spots filled in within 2 weeks. Amazing results!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied the EZ Seed Sun & Shade seed to a shaded area with a southern exposure in early Sept. With daily watering the seed germinated and grew after 1 week. I recommend EZ Seed Sun & Shade for small areas or where you grass is thin due to shading.

Scotts® EZ Seed® Patch & Repair made it a breeze to get grass growing again on these spots. With a combination of mulch, seed, & fertilizer all in on dispenser all you need to do is shake an appropriate amount onto the bare spots and water it in. I used this product a couple weeks ago and I already have quite a bit of new grass coming up!
