[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is so easy to use it truly can grow grass anywhere. I had a bare spot in my back yard that only gets a little sun and EZ Seed was able to get green grass growing in as little as a week.

Doesn't work! I actually bought a couple of these and wish I had only bought one because I used it and it didn't work. I have a big bag I bought at the same time that is too late to return to the store but seeing as the kind in the jug didn't work, I have no doubt the bag won't either. It's a shame because I really like all other Scotts products. We've been complimented on our lawn before and I say it's because I use the Scotts Turfbuilder several times a year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sprinkled this EZ Seed on a few bad patches I had in my lawn and within 5 days new grass was sprouting! Roughed up the dead grass and soil, sprinkled this seed, and watered. It was an EZ product to use and appears to get great results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two spots in my yard that it seems the kids always run,play or roll around this same spot so i used the ez-seed and it worked great grass grew.It only took 5 days to 7 days and i had grass growing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product has been great in large and small areas that need to be reseeded. The mulch holds the water and seed. You can see the grass growing in 3-4 days. And it fills in completely in a week or two.

I used a 40lb bag to reseed an area affected by bugs. Followed directions explicitly and got great results in an area that's difficult to grow. Although I planted later than usual (after Labor Day) grass is coming in well. I have used this product in the past and have some advice. Make sure that you thoroughly till the soil down to 2" for strong root growth. Keep lightly watering once a day after the grass is 2" high to allow other types of seeds in the mix to germinate. If you stop watering too soon some of the new grass will die back and other seeds will not germinate.

Had bare spots in mostly shady areas. Where I had roughed up the ground and partially buried the seeds it grew like gangbusters! Couldn't be more pleased! Where I had just spread it on the bare hard ground it had much less growth, but still got started so it can eventually grow in. Overall very much worth the price. :-)

I did this when the weather was cool (fall) and rain was predicted for the following few days. I followed the directions because I wanted these problem bare spots to finally take root. I was amazed ......... after 2 days the seedlings began to sprout. It has been two months since, and my lawn is finally fully covered and beautiful. A must try product for those hard to grow areas !!!!!!!!!
