This Vizio Sound System is impressive. It truly exceeded expectations. The side speakers are very small compared to my last stereo systems and you hear lifelike sounds. The subwoofer makes you feel the sound physically and is incredible. The app allows you to control everything and connect to other devices to control. I highly recommend this system.

Great Soundbar with many Pros & a few notable Cons

Pros: Vizio Elevate has an amazing sound for the price. I was shocked by the sound you get compared to soundbars that cost $500-$1500 more than the Vizio Elevate. Vizio provides all the cables, a remote that has a backlit LCD display (WOW), a versatile app experience on an Android devices, and unlike the Sonos Arc that has only 1 HDMI eARC port plus Sonos charges $79 for a wall mount, the Vizio throws a wall mount in the box and gives you 1HDMI eARC also 2 HDMI 2.0 passthrough, but these ports only has 18gbs capabilities. The speaker grills are a clean eye pleasing design unlike the Samsung HW-Q95 lint and dust collecting speaker materials. The subwoofer will wake the dead and hit you in the chest. Native Google Chromecasting music is a major +++++ (Take a note Sonos). The rotating Elevate speakers look cool. Cons: The rotating Elevate speakers look cool, but are a novelty. I would prefer stationary upfiring drivers and drivers on the ends for a wider soundstage. The auto elevate on Dolby Atmos/ DTSx is neat, but content/source devices can interfere with this feature if you do not have everything setup exactly and this leaves a lot of ways for you to miss out on the 3-D height sound effects. I manually move the height speakers to up when watching a movie. I would be happy to pay at least $100 more for robust, powerful sounding and truly wireless rear surround speakers. I wish the app EQ settings allowed for user defined presets. The Vizio Smartcast app is glitchy. Vizio needs to start over and look at the Sonos UI as that is a great interface. NOW the big question: Would you recommend this product to a friend? A qualified yes due to Sam's Club return policy and the great VIZIO customer service. My first purchase was riddled issues, but Vizio swapped it out. So far no issues with the replacement Vizio Elevate. Defective unit faults: power on/off sync between soundbar and the tv, no Dolby Atmos detection for auto elevate, remote would not respond or was glitchy, could not get Google Voice Assistant to pair to soundbar.

Good Sound Bar System for the Money

I have had this sound bar system for a few weeks now. The set-up was easy and the sound quality is nice. The woofer produces deep bass. I run a BluRay Play and my PS5 to one of the HDMI Ports and I have noticed that frequently the system mutes itself when I am playing games. This requires me to unmute it. I have also noticed that the other HDMI port doesn't always recognize that the cable box is on, so I have to toggle to HDMI 2, and then back to HDMI 1 to get it to recognize the port. It's a bit of an inconvenience, but the sound quality is good.
