Heart attack in a bun

Super soft and tasty, but ... 30 grams of fat per croissant!! I purchased for an event, and could not allow myself to eat one! Oh the bliss of "not knowing" but the guilt of participating in everyone else's demise :-/

decreased in size

I am a Sam's customer for many years and notice the size of croissant getting smaller ad smaller; not just the size but the price is getting higher and higher. Sometime it is over baked, sometimes is under bake; never consistent !

Smaller, Expensive and Nothing Like Picture.

They used to be much larger and fluffy. Now although they taste the same, they are costlier, always look like someone sat on them, and smaller. Nothing like what you see in the picture. Time to learn to make them. It won’t be any worse than this.

Check Me the date.

We usually love these. But the last time I brought this was with a pick up order and they were expiring the next day. Was disappointed. So they were a little hard as well. However we’re able to get a refund on my app. So it all ended well.

These are gross. They're very dry and have a funny aftertaste. They almost taste sour or like sourdough. Very artificial-tasting. I agree with the review that said they're more like rolls... they are. They aren't really like actual croissants, but this isn't France and these are less than $6/dozen lol so I get the appeal as far as price goes. They just don't taste good in my opinion. Weird texture too.

Croissants need to be Improved

I’ve bought these croissants a few times because they’re affordable and convenient. They have a nice buttery flavor and work well for sandwiches or breakfast. However, I’ve noticed they sometimes feel a bit dense and doughy, not as light and flaky as I’d expect from a croissant. If the texture improves, I’d gladly give them five stars. Overall, good for the price, but there’s room for improvement.

DRRRRRYYY

I believe they have changed and the new ones are much dryer. If your going to toast these than they are fine, but if you don't they are very dry. Not a fan of these when I use to LOVE the other ones. I would rather pay the old price ( a bit more} for better quality.

Disappointed

We have been buying croissants weekly for our breakfast for 4 years. Over time the taste and texture has gone downhill. This morning's breakfast was especially disappointing. Like gummy dough balls. Yucky. The lower price is not going to keep us buying them. AND this was our go to place for croissants.
