Over Baked!

One of the only reasons I go to Sam's frequently are their croissants, no lie, I love them. But these past couple of times I have gone, the croissants are very over baked. I decided to buy one anyway, to try them out, but that was definitely a bad idea. They were kind of hard to begin with, but just got worse within a couple of days. Just not appetizing, nobody wanted to eat them, myself included.

Bad quality croissants

They used to be really croissants but now are full of air, empty, fluffy and doesn’t taste like croissants. Looks like they are using too much yeast to save product. If you can’t do a real croissants please don’t sell this thing because is not croissant.

Great Rolls if Delivered FRESH

I love these rolls however on my last deliver, I received 'DAY OLD' rolls. I have always gotten them inside so I guess I will have to go INSIDE TO GET THE FRESH ONES MADE DAILY! I am 82 and was waiting on my delivery and had DAY OLD rolls and DAY OLD PECAN CRANBERRY BREAD delivered, Started to take back but hard to get out at my age. JUST BE AWARE of home delivery on DAY OLD stuff!

Worst Croissants EVER!!!!

I bought these to make chicken salad sandwiches for a ladies tea. These were the worst croissants I have ever tasted. They were more the texture of a stale French roll. They were not flaky or buttery tasting at all. I am adding the following sentence to my notes for this tea to make sure I don't repeat this mistake again in the future; "NEVER BUY CROISSANTS FROM SAM'S CLUB!" I don't think they were as large as they used to be either. Just as well! It was that much less horrible bread to eat.

Inaccurate labeling, GMO product

Y'all need to update your listing. This is NOT the labeling on the package in the store. There's soy/canola oil in them, and customers need to know about the BIOENGINEERED ingredients that are labeled at the very, very bottom of sticker. Barely legible. I'll no longer buy these, sadly. They were a treat for my children when I needed to make quick sandwiches. Stick with organic Killer Dave's bread if you must purchase any there. Check all Sam's baked goods if you're watching out for GMO ingredients.

Not as good as the Croissants Toast

I wanted the Member's Mark Croissants Toast but was informed it has been discontinued, I was very disappointed as the toast is amazing and my family loves it. I bought this instead as it was the only other option and it is ok but nowhere near as good as the Croissants Toast. Please bring back the Croissants Toast!

Recipe change

The recipe has changed. They are not as buttery and soft as they used to be. They also are over baking them and they're coming quite dark. Not golden brown at all. This has been happening the last few months. The mini ones are still goldwn brown and buttery.

Take OFF the Sugar, please

They were always true-to-name "Butter Croissants" - large, fluffy, AND NO SUGAR ADDED (when you have them in the morning, you DON'T need sugar - you add it to tea, or coffee, right?). Also, lately, they are sometimes almost flat, as not being fully baked (though the color seems to be right), or don't have enough of what makes them rise.

Like other comments, the croissants are not the same. They are dry and less buttery.
