Croissants

I have been buying croissants for 10 years with no issues. I always expect in the cooler months that they may not proof long enough. Something has changed in the last month as they have been smaller and dense. I just found out they switched bread companies and no longer need to proof. So no more light and fluffy 😔 . Please bring old ones back.

Really gone downhill

Been buying these for years. When they increased the price, they reduced the size of the croissant. These used to be light, flaky and buttery. Now they are dense, more like sliced bread, and the butter tastes funny. Sam's please bring back the former quality!

A pathetic end to a good croissant

These used to be my 'go to' bread at SAMs. Lately I have been struck that while the price has stayed the same, the rolls are SHRINKING. This batch barely covers the palm of my hand and the old ones would make a nice sandwich. Also, where did my beautiful, flakey layers go. Cutting open the last batch reveals small, round holes like sandwich bread and not a single buttery flake. It was like slicing open a soft bagel. Charge me more if you must, but give me back the croissants I used to love. SHRINKFLATION is a cowardly way to raise prices. You aren't fooling anyone.

Costco's are better

Would rate these excellent if they were as flaky as Costco's.
