This is the best Covid test I've run across. At one point I had to call Abbott labs to see if it was a positive test and they had the information on computer.

Affordable and easy to use

Simple and easy to use. Without actual lab testing I can't be sure but seems to be accurate. Takes only 20 to 30 minutes for results. Affordable to Sam's.

Accurate

While I wish we lived in a world where these were no longer necessary. Test worked well picked up my son's positive. Which we later confirmed with his doctor.

works perfectly as described

My friends and family have used it and it works perfectly as described. It is easy to use via a simple nasal swab and comes with easy to follow step-by-step instructions. 2 tests per box helps with frequency of test and reassurance.

FDA guidance for Over-the-Counter at-home COVID-19 tests requires serial testing. Serial testing means that people should test themselves frequently, so that if they’re positive, they can catch themselves at the beginning of their infection and, hopefully, before they transmit it to others. compares to pcr

I used these several times and for the first time we saw a positive (with no symptoms). When confirming with pcr tests which took 4 days to get back the positive along with the 2 other negative were all confirmed. I was surprised with the accuracy of these. Without the quick result we wouldn’t have known to stay home.

Limit Exceeded

COVID is here. It was great to have these on hand. However, it appears SAMs has implemented a member-level limit on how many can be purchased. Not just at any one time, but forever. Whatever that limit is, we hit it and cannot but the item at all. The item description should be clear that this item has a purchase limit per membership. If it does say this, I cannot find it.

Works great

Seems to be accurate. Pretty simple, but make sure you follow the directions exactly. Read another review that said to make sure you don't have a dry nose, that's a key to it. Kind of blow a little bit just to get some snot in there to test. Gross but very important!

Expire too soon!

The delivery was great, and I expect the tests will be fine. However, the expiration date is less than six months away! COVID test kits are not ordered from Sam's online for delivery if one needs to test NOW. These were replacements for those I had to throw away because they expired, and those we used up during a recent family COVID infection. The kits I bought at our vacation location are good for more than 18 months, and cheaper even in a tourist hot spot! I needed these to have on hand for the future - I'm afraid I just wasted almost $20 because they expire so soon. I expect better from Sam's - and I expect better from a paid membership.

Since the launch of the BinaxNOW™ COVID-19 Antigen Self Test, Abbott has continued testing for product stability to extend the expiration date and have shared these results with the FDA. Testing has been completed to support a shelf-life (expiration date) of up to 22 months. The BinaxNOW™ COVID-19 Antigen Self Test, part number 195-160 or 195-180, may now have a longer than labeled product expiry date. A listing of BinaxNOW™ COVID-19 Antigen Self Test kit lot numbers, which qualify for this expiry extension, can be found on the FDA website at https://www.fda.gov/media/158003/download. The attachment lists the kit lot number, currently labeled kit expiry and new kit expiry date.

Short expiration date

These tests should have a year shelf live. The ones I received expire in 4 months.
