I am an empty nester, therefore no longer cook exotic 5 course meals. My eating habits have changed since I am the only one I am preparing food for. Simple and easy has become my mantra, and I like my clean-up to be the same. I have never experienced a leak/soak through, nor cut through. Ultra's our the greatest!

Even though I try to save wherever I can, one thing I won't give up is Dixie plates & napkins! The plates are so strong and hold up well. Regular paper plates don't hold up. Also, the napkins are so so durable, just one is enough for my husband's big hands! The money I would save on store brand is no savings at all because you use twice or three times as many to get through a Neal. My husband loves chicken wings & on a bad day needs two Dixie napkins versus a handful of f store brand napkins. So because of the quality of your products, I actually save money! Love the patterns & prints too! They make mealtime feel like a special occasion every day!

They are also very sturdy and food will not leak through! It actually feels like you have two plates in one when you hold them. Since we don't like washing dishes in my family, these plates will be used frequently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these plates because they are strong enough to use to as a dinner plate putting your full meal on it. Then after the meal there is virtually no clean up but eating utensils. Simply drop in garbage. SIMPLE.

I have been using dixie ultra paper plates for several years and have always loved them never bent with heavy food and never leaked but last week I bought two new packagesand they said now stronger, but they are not the same, they are awful now. The plate bent easily and my husband was sitting in his chair put his plate on his lapped and it leaked through. I had another one get very weak from juices on the food. This is not the quality I have come to expect from dixie ultra paper plates and the now stronger just seems like a joke. I will be switching brands once we use what is left.
