[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This plate is our ALL-Time favorite because no matter which food items are placed on the plates, the plates, (and bowls too) hold their shape, don't allow juices to leak through, AND handles ANY food item! We use them all the time at our UCF College Football tailgating events (every week) and these are, without any doubt, the best plates for this use, as well as picnics and parties too! Just about anywhere, anytime of year, it's always appropriate to use Dixie!

They are strong enough to firmly hold our grilled hotdogs, bratwursts, burgers and sides. They stand up to messy foods like baked beans too. They come in designs that will work for any occasion. I feel like these are a better environmental choice over foam or plastic plates when you really need to have a disposable product.

I'm a bachelor and live alone so why mess up dishes. I use these heavy duty plates a lot. They are strong and don't absorb what is on them. Cuts my dishes in the sink in half. Also I order them because the nearest Sam's Club is 50 miles away. The shipping cost is about the same as the gas I would burn.

I want everyone to have a great meal and then to a relaxing time of visitation. I do this by using Dixie products that are stylish and durable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these plates for the first time about 10 days ago for an informal get together we were having. We had some pretty heavy foods, such as sloppy joe's, spaghetti & meatballs, rib eyes, etc. They performed beautifully with no spills, no buckles and no "food bleed through." We were impressed and thought they were well worth the extra money over other brands we had previously tried.

Dixie Ultra plate and bowls in all sizes have the strength to hold a lot of food. The designs and colors from change tripod time to time, and often when having company I have a mix or match plates and bowls, but that is okay. I really miss the family pack of Dixie Ultra utensils. Highly recommend Dixie Ultra plates!,,
