These plates are sturdy and definitely hold up the best and are worth the few bucks price difference and i recommend them .

Sturdy plates unless it's something that has a lot of liquid, like greens, then they become very flimsy and more than one is needed.

We have started using more paper plates and found that buying them at Sam's Club is the best bargain.
