It is heavy duty and can hold lots of food piled on plate.I use it in the microwave to warm things and it holds up perfect!

Even though I try to save wherever I can, one thing I won't give up is Dixie plates & napkins! The plates are so strong and hold up well. Regular paper plates don't hold up. Also, the napkins are so so durable, just one is enough for my husband's big hands! The money I would save on store brand is no savings at all because you use twice or three times as many to get through a Neal. My husband loves chicken wings & on a bad day needs two Dixie napkins versus a handful of f store brand napkins. So because of the quality of your products, I actually save money! Love the patterns & prints too! They make mealtime feel like a special occasion every day!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been buying this product for about three years now and have always been satisfied with its durability. it does not become soggy like other products do and it is always been a dependable product.

I've been using these plates for years and I've noticed they definitely are not as strong as they used to be. I basically use these plates for breakfast or lunch meals so nothing like a heavy stake going on them and they're very flimsy and the heat penetrates right through them.

We don't have a place for everyone to sit at a table so it was important for us to have a strong plate to hold the food. These worked out wonderfully and there were no food spills and we didn't even have to double up the plates.

I buy these to use at my office for lunches. I am a busy attorney and I do not have time to wash dishes at the office during the day. The convenience of these and the durability (I can’t stand when plates fold while transporting from break room back to my office and I lose my food off my plate) are immeasurable!
