I've tried store brands and become so angry with the horrible quality. My husband and I are both retired now and I do not do dishes anymore if I can help it, even when my guests come over I only use Dixie brand products. I love the quality!! Keep up the good work!!! B. We purchase them because they are pretty have a lip (so it is forgiving for little people when their plates tip alittle) and very durable so that no accidents occur due to leakage. Great product!

These plates are by far the best disposable plates I have ever used! They are both sturdy and leak-proof and can support a good amount of food with no issues. Besides all that, they are so pretty that I almost feel guilty tossing them in the trash after they've been used!

I want everyone to have a great meal and then to a relaxing time of visitation. I do this by using Dixie products that are stylish and durable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This plate is our ALL-Time favorite because no matter which food items are placed on the plates, the plates, (and bowls too) hold their shape, don't allow juices to leak through, AND handles ANY food item! We use them all the time at our UCF College Football tailgating events (every week) and these are, without any doubt, the best plates for this use, as well as picnics and parties too! Just about anywhere, anytime of year, it's always appropriate to use Dixie!

I'm a bachelor and live alone so why mess up dishes. I use these heavy duty plates a lot. They are strong and don't absorb what is on them. Cuts my dishes in the sink in half. Also I order them because the nearest Sam's Club is 50 miles away. The shipping cost is about the same as the gas I would burn.
