Dixie did have the most durable plates on the market but... my most recent purchase I noticed something different even while in the package of 44 plates. When I compared to the previous purchase, it was way obvious that the quality was cut in half. The edges flex/bend/curl however you want to say it much more than my previous purchase. Has anyone else noticed that they went down a notch in quality? Strength goes from Excellent to good in my view.

My husband and I moved into our 5th wheel to travel after retiring. We have been living in it for 6 years and always have used Dixie paper plates. This last pack that I bought is thinner, and for the first time, LEAKED on my lap!! Have they gone cheap and made them thinner?? If so, I will be looking for another brand!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only entertain two or three times per year. However drop in visitors at meal time are no problem. A pack usually lasts about three months. Plates are decorative and solid. Great for situations where your don't want a ton of dishes to do.

The guy's placed their plates ,filled with food all over my wood coffee table. I just wanted to shriek and Yell! Peyton Manning was winning. I had to give in. Thank you for saving the day. Nothing soaked through. They were strong ,durable and sweet. They went with my decor, adding a thing of great beauty to our party life.I definitely will purchase these plates again.
