The bag of Tilapia I bought was bad. I thought it tasted funny because I thawed it out inside of the separate pouches and the instructions said not to. I threw that fish out because it tasted like someone’s musty armpit smells. The second time I tried the fish I took it out the pouch and put it into my air frier frozen and it still tasted like armpits. Now I have to throw the rest of the bag away. I’m disappointed and I won’t be buying it again.

Pretty good. I swear these didn't used to be farmed fish? But I might be wrong. At some point the fillets became less flavorful. At that same point the vacuum seals on the fish fillets also became lower quality-- when I'm thawing my fillets in cold water the vacuum sealed bags always fill up with water. But even with those two complaints, still good fish for a great price.

Title says it all. I've gotten this a few times on separate occasions, and it sometimes tastes remarkably like soap. I thought it was a fluke the first time but then it happened again later. There is some kind of chemical in this stuff, I've never had this issue with frozen tilapia (or any other fish for that matter) from other places.

I've purchased this product before and had no problems. However this purchase had a strong chemical taste to it. Like another reviewer said, it tasted like it had been marinated in ammonia. I'm glad I tasted it before serving to my family. Ruined my dinner though. I won't purchase this again and I am returning it to the store even though I cooked it.

Customer loves the fish

I bought this item in December and there was a strong ammonia smell & taste to it. I could not finish eating it. I had to through all of it out. I have never experienced anything like this with fish before, but I am pretty sure that it was not edible. Will not purchase this again from Sam's.

Buying appliance from Sam’s has been one of the worst experience. The delivery crew often would not pick up the old appliance. I opened ticket with Sam’s customer service no call back or update since I called in to get the old appliance picked up.
