It took 2 engineers 20 hours over 3 days to assemble! Sooo many screws at least 25 different types/sizes so make sure you tape your bags closed before shutting down for the day so as not to mix them up or lose any as there are no extra pieces! they should have come in resealable bags! We added a 24'X28' landscape timbers perimeter 8' timbers are 2"X3" and Lowes sells them for $5. each. Nailed into the ground with 2-12" rebar rods in each timber. and filled with 8 cubic yards of sand! Awesomeness!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this wooden swing set in the spring. I have 12 grandchildren whom I love very much. I look forward to their visits and watching them play. They absolutely love the backyard Discovery swing set. It has so much to do. Swing, two slides, lookout tower, little kitchen downstairs and a adorable upstairs playhouse with lots to do like the rock climbing wall, telascop, chalkboard and more. We love it..

My family purchased this swing set in March and had it assembled in April. Since then my son has played on it everyday! It has great features that keep him busy such as the rock wall, the kitchen play area, chalk boards, and the covered twisty slide (his favorite!). We are having a few issues with kitchen equipment failing but I’ve heard customer service is great at providing resolution where this is concerned. Overall, definitely worth the purchase.

We ordered this and had it sent to the Grandkids. They can’t even finish breakfast before asking to go play on it right after! This item shipped faster than was expected. It did arrive with some damaged pieces but customer service was awesome and they immediately sent replacement parts. I highly recommend.

We bought this a few weeks ago for our daughter (almost 3yo) and chose to assemble ourselves which we learned is not for the faint of heart. I'll review the assembly process, the features, and the customer service experience we've had since then. The assembly guide is very thorough and very easy to follow if you go slowly / read it entirely before beginning a step. There were one or two points where we learned later that we assembled a part incorrectly and had to reverse it quickly to make things align, etc. but all in all went very well. Prior to purchasing, we read a really funny review on here about the tube slide causing you to question your life choices and it was spot on - I would recommend dedicating an entire day just to that and you'll absolutely need 1, 2, or 3 sets of hands even. The suggested assembly time of 8 hours for the core set and 3 hours for the tube slide are wildly underestimated, but again - was not terrible and we still feel as if it was worth the money savings. The product itself is great - our daughter is obsessed with it already. We had some rain over the past week and the battery-operated burner on the kitchen set underneath showed signs of waterlog, rust, and no longer worked after the rain. I reached out to customer service this morning and they've already put in a replacement order for us at no charge. They customer service rep (Chase - shout out to you!) was so personable and even recommended getting a little storage box for the outdoor items to put underneath the counter which we'll do to prevent it from happening again.

We purchased in the winter finally got around to setting up late Spring. The boxes arrived in good condition. All parts & pieces accounted for. Thank God. It took my spouse and I well over 15 hours to setup and we are no experts. Online videos were helpful as the manual. Had to enlist the help of my dad who is very handy to level the swing set since we have steady sloped grade. When ended up adding a floor to the kitchen space since over time it will be muddy without mulch. Over Memorial Day we had 7 kids play at once. Ages ranging from 18 months to 9 years and all were able to play with all the neat features. I use a small plastic bin to keep the battery operated toys from the rain to last when not in use. Our neighbors even commented how beautiful the swing set is. We couldn’t agree more. Multifunctional, well engineered, & nice too look at! If you are debating on purchasing don’t hesitate! You won’t regret it!!

It is an awesome set and my daughter loves it. But be prepared for a large amlunt of work. I am pretty handy and had all the power tools to do this but it still took my wife and i probably a total of 35 hours to finish the build. It was a lot of work but the 3d app instructions really were a life saver. If you are not much for construction you will need to hire someone to build this. If I had to do it again I would pay quite a bit to have someone else do it.

We couldn’t be happier with this purchase! Our 3 year old son has so much fun playing with the kitchen accessories and the slides. It’s well made and although time consuming, pretty easy to put together. Instead of sealing the wood, we decided to have it painted and it’s the perfect addition to our backyard! Oh and they also have wonderful customer service. Half way through the assembly, a tree fell right onto the playset and broke several large pieces. Customer service shipped us replacements at no cost.

I bought this swingset for my four grandkids and they love it! I had an issue with a couple pieces and their customer service was exceptional. The tube slide was the hardest part of assembly for me but the its the kids favorite. I also bought a glider to replace the trapeze swing. The grandkids really enjoy this playset.

So much fun for my great grandchildren with so many fun activities keeps them interested and engaged for hours. I stained the set to help preserve the wood and would recommend it to keep it looking good. I also choose the option to have someone put it together which was a God send. Would highly recommend this play set.
