Ensure using teflon tape on spigots. Ensure using the spigot's thicker threads in the barrel wall. I also added a touch of silicone on threads so no leaks in my barrel. The top screen is a little buckled on arrival but should be fine.

This is the second Corsican barrel we've purchased from Sams. The first was a few years ago. One of the flanges for the two spigots was not glued properly so it leaked whenever filled. We had to carefully remove the plastic flange and reglue it. A few weeks ago we bought the same barrel. Unfortunately both flanges were not glued on properly from the manufacturer and water leaked out even when the spigots were shut. We spent a few hours again carefully removing the cheap plastic flange, cleaned the area and reglued it to the barrel to stop the leak. So we ended up spending more of our time and about another $20 for a special adhesive to fix this. We like the barrel design but this is poor quality control from Good Ideas.

So far the rain saver catches & holds water well. It helps save our yard from being water logged. We have yet to drain it,as my husband states we should do so by attaching a soaker hose,when it gets dry out and around the house.

Attractive, fits against our house and is same color as the stone, works well in collecting and dispensing water There is no way to clean the interior which is probably the same with all home rain barrels

Of course you have to wait for it to rain to find out that really the water is very hard to get out of even with a hose that doesn’t come out really easy. I had to get a bucket in order to get water out. I would not recommend anyone to buy this.

very poorly made

It looks luxurious in the photo but in real life it was very crummy looking. The shape is great but I returned it and went back to using my garbage can to collect water 🤷🏻‍♀️ Btw I LOVE Sam’s club and this is the only product I’ve bought and didn’t love.

I like the rain barrel- it looks nice. The problem is the bib that the spigots screw into are very, very soft plastic. I knew these would be problematic, so I very carefully screwed the spigot in, and no matter how careful I was, the brass on the spigot shredded the plastic. I don’t think they were able to get the patterns right since they are different material. It leaks around the spigots. I’m sure there is a fix, just not sure what that is.
