The connectors are not truly solid, I expect them to fail at any moment! I wish I had purchased a different rain barrel.

After setting the rain barrel up according to the instructions, it leaks around the spigot. We needed to purchase and repair with flex seal.

This is a nice idea but not as simple as rain in a bucket then spout out. Some plumbing tricks are required to always have rain water

It leaks at both spigots!! My first one I bought in store was fine, but this one I bought on line leaks 😠

I like the rain barrel- it looks nice. The problem is the bib that the spigots screw into are very, very soft plastic. I knew these would be problematic, so I very carefully screwed the spigot in, and no matter how careful I was, the brass on the spigot shredded the plastic. I don’t think they were able to get the patterns right since they are different material. It leaks around the spigots. I’m sure there is a fix, just not sure what that is.

I never bought one but can tell people do not have plumbing skills? 1. Diverter. Its the lip in the front and the angle sloping forward. So if it fills up and overflowes it diverts water towards the front. Simple. 2. Lead. All brass valves contain lead. 3. Leaky shut off valve. Most likely customer install issue. Plastic on plastic requires no thread tape. I would use tape since its brass on plastic.

The bottom spigot leaks. I went on vacation and after 10 days the water level dropped to the bottom spigot after being completely full. This unit is too big for me to send it back for a refund so I bought some sealant to see if that will fix the issue. This should not be required.

I've had this for about a year. It's cheaper on-line than it was in store. It's been very useful. I like that it has two spouts. The little filter on top had the corners break off due to weather exposure, but you can't expect thin plastic to last long with constant sun exposure. It has been an excellent purchase.
