Tasteless lightweight powder. It’s great in coffee. This product was highly recommended to me. I haven’t been using this product long enough to judge the quality.

My wife loves this because it helps her with her painful joints and feet. She has a serving every morning in her coffee and I am so happy to see how much better she feels all day with greatly reduced pain.

The packaging is ridiculous and impossible to open without a knife. Congrats to the company for saving costs and plastic…now their cardboard containers can sit on the shelves as their former customers move to a brand that provides easy-to-open containers that protect the shelf life of the product once it's opened.

Unlike many others, I have no trouble opening the new cannisters, and I think it's great that they are reducing plastic use! My only complaint with the product is getting it to fully dissolve in my morning coffee, even with a small blender. Can you tell me exactly how to recycle the new cannister? It says to discard the seal before recycling, but don't you take off the seal when you open it? Is there another part that needs to be removed? Also, do you need to rinse out residual powder? Please offer specific instructions for recycling! Thanks

I just bought the product. I thought the packaging was a good idea until I tried to open it. I applaud your sustainability effort. Assuming you all have tested this package, and knowing that customers are struggling—put a video on the site to demonstrate its ease of use. “Pull here” is clearly not enough. Don't just read the response and defend your choice—help us.

This is magical fairy dust....I have 2 cups of coffee each morning, with a scoop of these collagen peptides in each cup; my hair, skin, and joints have never been better. I am a dedicated Vital Proteins customer for life. (Wish I had started this regimen twenty years ago!)

I used (plain) VP years ago, this time I purchased the chocolate flavor, noticed a slight body smell shortly after. Directions advise to mix with hot water, some used coffee, I was told heat minimizes the benefits though, is this true? I made hot chocolate and added it in coffee, I love both ways. New container is difficult to open, not a fan.

Even though I have been using VP for a few years now with mostly positive results. I had a batch that tasted off , and you resolved by replacing. Thank you. My issue now is the new packaging. I am a big believer in sustainable packaging and reducing plastics. However this just doesn't work.My husband had to get pliers to pull open the tab with my holding the container. We are mature active adults and couldn't believe it. Please consider reworking the process. I may consider using a different brand and not go thru this. Thank you.

We have been using Vital Proteins for a few years now. We've stopped using it in our morning coffee daily a few times but the arthritis pain is not a good feeling. I'm 68 now hubby is 71. We've been exercising and using Vital Proteins Collagen and we will continue. Highly recommend it if you also have arthritis pain. It does make our hair grow fast, nails and our skin is not as dry. Still dry from elements we can't control but this collagen supplement helps. I don't have to use lotion every day. I've been careful where I purchase my Vital Proteins Collagen. I did purchase it once from a grocery store chain we all shop there. I don't know what happened to it. It was a small container to hold us over until our subscription arrived. We couldn't even finish this small container. Something was off. I've never tasted Vital Proteins in our coffee but that container had a horrible taste. So I've been purchasing from Sam's club for years.
