I bought this product because as we age our bodies produce less collagen. I noticed my hair was growing at a faster rate and it's shinier! I didn't notice changes to my skin however others did! My Mother didn't see me for 2 months (she lives in another state) and she asked me if I "had my cheeks done" when I said no, she said well I've been in the beauty business for years and you've done something. It made me chuckle because the only change I've made is adding this to my routine.

I take 2 scoops in my coffee most days, and I love the fact that I get 18g protein easily. It's unflavored, but I can tell it's in my coffee (very slight taste, nothing off-putting). I've seen a difference in my nails so far - I've only been taking it consistently for about 6-8 weeks. I recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 61 yrs old. I have taking Vital Proteins daily for 2 weeks. I really haven't seen much change. I did notice i am not as run down. I am a very active 61 yr old with knee and leg problems. I have also increased my daily vitamins and changed my diet. There is a taste to it but no overwhelming. I drink it with my hot tea in the evening after work. So I am going to keep taking it and see if it helps. I will be back with any update in 30 days.

Even though it is "unflavored" I could taste it in everything that I put it in and did not like the taste sadly. I have heard amazing things about this product so I was sad that I didn't like it. I have since tried the vital proteins water and that was great! Yay!!

Will be 49 years old next week...and have been using for a month. Two scoops in hot tea - dissolves quickly, not much of a smell (for me) and can't taste it in the tea. My nails are usually easy to split, BUT I have noticed an improvement... my skin is usually ashy and have noticed that it appears to be more hydrated. Let me also add that since I am trying to live a healthier lifestyle that I have also been making smoothies and juicing several times a week, walking at least 5 miles several times a week. So, it could be a culmination of all these efforts too, but I plan on keeping VP as apart of my fitness journey. Hope this review helps someone!

I bought this two months ago and used it all up! I Honestly could see and feel a difference in my skin. No icky after flavor at all. My only negative comment is there is a little bit of clumping if you don't mix it immediately in a warm liquid like coffee. I tried the cold water and it didn't go so well. Overall the product is great!

I can’t get enough of this product. I literally order a container each month for my husband and I. I put 1-2 scoops in my coffee every morning. You can see the effects in my hair and nails. I have been taking collagen for two years now... an I have tried every kind! I have noticed a big difference with my joints an my hair an nails! I thought this awful cardboard thing was just a new outer container. IT IS NOT. This is the new container. I had this delivered to my house via fedex. I had a cleaning product leak and it saturated all 4 cardboard packages. I thought "its okay, they are in a plastic container." I was soooo wrong. 5 stars for the product and efficacy, I've been a user for years. The new cardboard container drops it to 1 star. Seriously, who sat at a meeting and a whole group of adults said yes!!! this is a great idea!!!!!??? Dear Viral Proteins, for us willing to pay this much for this product the least you can do is give us back the plastic container. I don't want to spend hours trying to fins a replacement brand. And if ppl are worried about the plastic, repurpose it for something else like i do. Thank the Universe I saved all my old containers to transfer them out of this mess. The cardboard was not the way.
