So you leave out the tiny plastic scoop to save plastic, but the giant tub is made out of think plastic. Just another big company trying to say they’re helping the planet but really just being cheap. Make your tubs out of something else or thinner plastic if you really cared.

I bought this awhile ago. Was hesitant to start using it. Couldn't get past the idea that if I put this in my coffee, I wouldn't notice a difference. Well I finally bit the bullet and tried it. No difference in the taste or structure of my coffee. So easy to use. Will highly recommend.

i love this product, but would love it way more if it was sold in a bag as opposed to a plastic tub. the lids aren't recyclable in portland, oregon, a place known for its environmental consciousness, so i'm sure it's even harder to recycle them elsewhere. please consider making this product in a bag to decrease the amount of waste created. i was going through one of these per month & donating the tubs to a local reuse program, but i've recently switched to a lower quality collagen supplement that is in a resealable bag.

I have used this product for many months now and will continue to do so. I mix one scoop every morning in my coffee. There is no funny taste and it mixes well and basically disappears. I love the benefits of using college. My hair and nails and skin are improved. And I feel good.

I used to lose a handful of hair every time I shampooed. I first tried this product at one scoop a couple times/wk and it did nothing. At my friends' insistence, I decided to try 2 scoops/day, EVERY day. After about 5 days my hair stopped falling out in the shower. What a pleasure! It really works! I've generally been skeptical about the benefits of most supplements and this one was no different. I started following a ketogenic diet 3 months ago and found a recipe for Rocket Fuel Latte by Leanne Vogel, which included collagen peptides. It piqued my interest and decided to give it a shot. I ordered the 10 oz container first and quickly used that up as I made my on RFL blocks and added it in my daily coffee beverages. Now, I've upgraded to the 20 oz container! In the time that I've been using it, my nails have never been stronger! They haven't always been this way and I attribute that to the collagen. They are crazy hard and strong! One of the other big change that I've seen is that my thin, short Asian eyelashes have gotten LONGER since taking collagen. I've been tempted to purchase those serums that promise to make your lashes grow long and lush but those are so expensive! My lashes extend a bit longer after putting on mascara. These two observations and benefits are enough to keep me using them. I'll continue to use the collagen peptides and see if there are any other benefits long-term like joint health, post-workout recovery, etc. I'm a former skeptic who is now a collagen convert.

I have been taking VP for close to 2 years and the odorless/flavorless easy to dissolve collagen that I came to love has been changed. It now clumps up and leaves a residue at the top of my coffee, but the worst part is that it tastes absolutely terrible and has an almost bitter after taste. It tastes and smells the way a chicken coop smells. To add insult to injury they are increasing the price substantially which in my opinion is not justifiable as they removed the plastic scoop. I'm bummed that I will have to find a new collagen as I have already canceled my subscription. And just to make it clear, I am not canceling due to the increase but solely because the product being sold now is garbage, trust me when I say it's no longer tasteless

We add this to our coffee each morning and it dissolves right in with no bitter flavor or weird texture like we experienced when we tried the collagen creamer option. We still add our favorite creamer to this one. We've only been using this for a month and we did not "front-load" so we may not be seeing the full benefits yet. That said, I don't believe collagen will make a huge noticeable difference in hair and skin. We are using it for joint and mobility health which is where the real science is. My hips and lower lumbar area are aching less. I think that's the most I can expect.

This supplement has a consistency that adds texture to things more than taste. I put it in a half cup of chocolate almond milk every night and it makes it very thick and I mix it with a drink fritter so it’s super fluffy. I love it, it’s my lil bedtime treat. I drink it at bedtime because I have found it gives me a bit of gas so this way I sleep through it. Not painful gas, just noticeable. I’ve been on it for a few months and I fell like it’s working but it’s probably a bit soon to really tell.
