Thank you for reaching out and sharing your feedback with us. We apologize that this change may come at an inconvenience to you. This initiative is one small change Vital Proteins is taking toward a more sustainable future. We tested our canister to withstand leaks, spills and other everyday life events. We went to great lengths to ensure our packaging maintained freshness and felt as premium as the collagen inside. With this change along with the removal of our scoops, we are able to reduce our environmental plastic waste by 1,800M tons, and reduce our overall plastic use by 90% across all of our canister offerings. Even if you live in a hot or humid area, our paperboard canister’s pull tab lid is designed to open easily and lock in freshness. We will record your feedback and information and provide this to our team for further review.
