Truly flavorless. I go back and forth between Vital and Codeage collagen powders. I love that this bovine collagen dissolves so easily and is truly flavorless so I can drink it in hot tea, but I read that you need vitamin C to help with absorbtion which Codeage has at a much more reasonable price then the Vital Proteins version. I take collagen for joint pain but have noticed my hair is growing much faster as well.

I thought it might be too-good-to-be-true, but this collagen actually is undetectable once mixed in my liquid of choice. I've tried it with coffee, tea, and even water. It dissolves quickly and easily, and I cannot taste the addition of this collagen at all. I am usually pretty sensitive to flavors, so this was a pleasant surprise. I even use two full scoops, so it's not like I'm skimping on the serving size either. It's too soon to comment on it's visual effect on my body, but my mom has been taking this supplement for months and there is a noticeable improvement in her complexion and hair. She is practically glowing! I've been taking it for about a month now and like that I can add it to my morning coffee or tea and if I don't feel like having breakfast, I seem to feel quite satisfied until lunch, even if I workout! This alone has been a huge bonus for me, a gal who loathes breakfast.

I'm pleased with this product, which I've used since 2017. It worked miracles with my formerly weak & unsightly fingernails. Vital Proteins are a good way to get more digestible protein, as I'm working to get acid reflux under control with minimal proton pump inhibitors. I was glad they added hyaluronic (sp?) acid, but the powder got harder to dissolve at that time. It takes 2-3 times as long to dissolve it in my DIY latte, and I find little clumps of it sticking to my spoon as I eat collagens with my morning oats. If they solve the dissolving problem, I'd give it a 5+.

What happened? For a while I had stop buying your stuff, and I recently got collagen peptides again, and when I opened it I remembered why I stopped buying. There was no scope any more and there is “stuff” in it. I’m sure it’s just crystallized collagen, but I’ve bought this for years and it’s only happened the last 3 containers I bought in the last year. And the scoop. Who knew a scoop would be such a big deal! I went fishing for it and discovered all the little brown tidbits again. Threw it away.

Collagen Peptides is the perfect protein kick for your smoothie! I also love to have it in my tea in the morning - it really is almost tasteless and is odorless and does not change the texture of what you mix it into. Highly recommend and will continue to use daily.

I've taken this for 5 years. The last 2 canisters I've received have been different. NOT in a good way. It has specks of brown mixed in it now and I don't feel like it's working as well anymore. Not happy with recent orders. Deciding if I will continue using.

I take vital proteins and started 3 months ago because I lost hands full of hair daily. I started with 1scoop for a week then went for 2 scoops because I have a sensitive stomach. I also added biotin gummies. After a couple of weeks my hair stopped falling out I could shower and not have to cry because the drain was not full of hair. Then I stopped getting my hair colored because I was so afraid so with grey roots all over I started getting baby fuzz and I waited 3 months and my hair was feeling better than before I went and got my hair colored and cut and it looks amazing. I will never stop taking vital proteins. P.S. my face is as soft as a babies bottom at age 57. This is so nice because I am disabled and take 15 medications a day plus 5 prns so you can imagine how much junk is in my body. This has made me feel fantastic. Also my nails looks great.. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The Collagen Peptides exceeded my expectations. At first I just put it in my smoothies and used it as my protein powder replacement, then finally decided to try it in my evening tea, and it didn't change the consistency or flavor at all. I was beyond impressed! I have been recommending to all my friends!

I thought this awful cardboard thing was just a new outer container. IT IS NOT. This is the new container. I had this delivered to my house via fedex. I had a cleaning product leak and it saturated all 4 cardboard packages. I thought "its okay, they are in a plastic container." I was soooo wrong. 5 stars for the product and efficacy, I've been a user for years. The new cardboard container drops it to 1 star. Seriously, who sat at a meeting and a whole group of adults said yes!!! this is a great idea!!!!!??? Dear Viral Proteins, for us willing to pay this much for this product the least you can do is give us back the plastic container. I don't want to spend hours trying to fins a replacement brand. And if ppl are worried about the plastic, repurpose it for something else like i do. Thank the Universe I saved all my old containers to transfer them out of this mess. The cardboard was not the way. Price and size are excellent compared to other places. This is a powdered form, so when mixed with warm liquids, I noticed a light mucous-like coating in my throat. I switched things up and now blend the powder into smoothies with more acidity—like strawberries, lemon, kiwi, spring water, and a bit of raw honey—and it goes down much smoother. That’s what works best for me. As for the cardboard packaging, I had zero issues. Just follow the instructions—pinch and pull away..located right at the top along the dotted lines. If you open it correctly, there’s no problem. I’ve seen reviews complaining about this, but honestly, it’s not the packaging—it’s user error.
