I started having problems with protein absorption and at the suggestion of a dietitian, I started looking for ways to get more protein in the form of amino acids into my diet. I decided to try Vital Proteins. I use it in my morning coffee. I love how easily it dissolves and I cannot tell it’s there! The surprising side effect is my hair has gotten fuller. My hair dresser says she can see a lot of new growth. Don’t expect results overnight but they will be noticeable.

I always loved this collagen, but it's become really inconvenient that they began removing the scoop. I don't really love that they don't replace it with anything else either. It's the same price, except now you have to buy new measuring equipment. I removed one star for the sudden disappearance of the beloved (and much-needed) scoop. Now I just kind of wing it with a regular spoon. :/

Idk if it’s cause I’m new at taking this but This product made my skin breakout. I am 34 years old and have never suffered from acne. This is the only new product I am using. I don’t see a change when it comes to good benefits. Made my stomach hurt, bloated and embarrassing to say but it made me gassy. Painful gassy. I really really wanted to love this product.

This was my first choice after much research on collagen peptides. I suffered thinning hair due to a medical condition and achy joints from many years of running and working out. I have been drinking Vitas about 3 weeks and have noticed my hair is growing quicker and feels better. Also the pain in my joints is markedly better! I will continue to use Vitals with anticipated results! I will also note it quickly dissolves andhas little to no aftertaste.

I've tried this with hot tea and hot coffee and both taste terrible. I started only doing one scoop which has helped but you can still taste a slight flavor and smell. I've read some reviews that said not to buy it from the website because they have bad batches...so maybe I'll give another store a try? Who knows, but this was definitely not flavorless...my boyfriend and I were absolutely gagging at the smell and taste (with 2 scoops, 1 scoop is bearable like I said). It also is a little annoying to mix. I dump the powder in and it immediately forms a big gloopy clump. You have to kind of "break open" the clump to let the inside powder out, really gross and weird. I haven't been taking it long enough so I can't speak to how well it actually works.

About halfway through the large canister of this product, using it 2 -3 times per day, I have not really noticed a difference in my skin, nails, hair, or energy levels. But, that being said, I am a RNY bariatric surgery gal and these types of things go through my system quickly. I REALLY LOVE the collagen creamers, though! I use nothing else. I get the vanilla and coconut and use one scoop of each in my coffee. Heaven!

I tried 2 other protein powders and they were gritty and gross. This collagen powder has 18g of protein, is tasteless and makes my post-workout smoothie creamy and delicious. Also, I see a difference in my skin when I drink consistently. Glowing!! Now my sister and mother are using it too!

I wish I would have known about this sooner! I've never had a stronger, more immediate response to a supplement! I feel great and it is truly flavorless so adding it to a water bottle is no inconvenience! Great quality. I can't see myself switching over to a different brand. My health has rapidly improved.
