As long as I dissolved this product in a strong tea, I was unable to smell or taste it. However, I did develop cystic acne on my face and back. I’ve never had back acne before and nothing else about my diet or lifestyle changed so I determined it must be the collagen. I can’t find anything online to back up my conclusion; everything points to the opposite being true. I will stop taking this product and hope my skin clears up.

one of my son's sent this to me because I had been in a horrible car wreck. At 56 I broke 3 ribs, sternum, knocked out a tooth, right clavical and exploded my t6 (kind of the middle of my back). I had back surgery 15 days after the wreck. Then I had my clavical repaired 4 months later. I had to heal enough in my back to be released from the back brace. Because the brace kept my shoulders in their correct position it forced the shoulder side of my clavical back while the neck side stayed put. I have been using this original collagen peptides unflavored for about 4 months. I can honestly tell you I have noticed a huge change in my skin. Healthier younger looking skin. My skin is glowing. Nails growing strong. I haven’t noticed much change for my hair. I love this product. I put it in my coffee every morning. Mixes well. Can’t even taste it in your coffee. This product gets 5 stars outa 5.

This is an amazing product. I truly believe that it works, because it always works for me. It helps with my mobility and takes the pain out of my back and my knee. Now that I have introduced collagen peptides into my diet I never want to stop taking them. I have felt so good and really feel like they make up for something lacking in my diet. It's too soon to see results in my hair skin and nails, but I feel great! And am confident I will soon see a change.

i love this product, but would love it way more if it was sold in a bag as opposed to a plastic tub. the lids aren't recyclable in portland, oregon, a place known for its environmental consciousness, so i'm sure it's even harder to recycle them elsewhere. please consider making this product in a bag to decrease the amount of waste created. i was going through one of these per month & donating the tubs to a local reuse program, but i've recently switched to a lower quality collagen supplement that is in a resealable bag.

Absolutely LOVE the new packaging (and still love the product). Crazy good engineering to keep it sealed air/moisture tight but create an operable lid that stays open virtually all out of paperboard. I was HIGHLY suspicious that it would work and it worked like a charm and keeps a huge plastic bin out of landfill or incomplete recycling. Pinched the top, pulled up, pulled the paper ring and it worked perfectly. Sorry to others who might not have had the same experience but it worked beautifully for me. Would love other co's to do the same. I'm a fan of product and container now.

I have been using Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides for almost two years. It dissolves easily into my morning coffee, without adding any weird flavor. The lady I entrust with my haircare says my hair grows faster than most of her other clients and has much less damage than other color treated clients! My nails are also almost 2x thicker than they were, which says a lot, I have always had thin and brittle nails.

Hi - I ordered 4 jars, but only 1 was shipped. Julie was very nice on the phone, though, and said she would ship the other three. I tried sending her a picture of the box to show it only fit 1, even though the shipping label said 4, but it kept bouncing back from VitalProteins. Also, the new formulation is harder to use, just because it dissolves less evenly, though I also feel like I'm digesting it less well than previously, but I'll see how I adapt for a bit.
