I have used the original collagen peptides for over a year and a half. There is NO difference in the original and the Advanced except the PRICE!! The ingredients are the same, so why do you call it advanced. If the price continues to climb I will cancel my orders from you.

I've tried others and they either smelled bad, had a funky taste, gave me bad side effects (BAD headaches!!) or didn't mix well. I will never use another collagen powder. My hair is coming back to life & my nails are stronger. I'm 50+, started taking this a couple of months ago. For all the benefits this gives my body, I'm a customer for life. I only wish I would have found this collagen powder and started taking it at 30. I highly recommend this collagen. For anyone who's thinking of buying it, get it, and the earlier you start the better for your body as you start to age.

I saw this in my kitchen and I tried it for few weeks. I was so happy because I used to have lots of hair fall prior taking vital protein and to my surprise I was losing very little hair after taking this. My skin and nails looked great too. I would highly recommend this to all women who are having problem with hair fall.

I haven't been using this long enough to notice any differences, but I do know it does not dissolve in cold liquids like it is advertised. That's a little disappointing, but not a solid deal breaker. There is no taste, so it doesn't change the way my beverage tastes. Hopefully I'll start to see some results soon!

Not only did I see a difference in that, but my hairdresser noticed that my hair had gotten noticeably thicker! I was so happy to hear that! Since turning 50, things are a changing. I've just used one scoop of this in my coffee/ tea for the first three days and I HAD to stop. It upsets my stomach so much. I run to the bathroom, and I feel so drained and crampy after, like I had a stomach flu. I was so excited to start taking the collagen, not just for the hair/skin/nail benefits, but for the benefits I've read about for joints, ligaments, tendons, (and I have IBS and supposedly helps with digestion). I'm 30 now, but I had cortisone shots in my hips two years ago and anything to help my mobility as I'm getting older I am willing to try.... even if this helps my hips, I just can't be that uncomfortable taking this everyday.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before I started Vital Proteins my hair was thin and scraggly and my skin was very thin and broke the skin with the slightest bump. My nails were brittle. My hair has grown 3 inches and my skins elasticity has improved tremendously and my nails are strong. I have been using it for about 4 months and absolutely love the results! I went out to the grocery store this Las Tuesday and was complemented on all of the above. I love it!!

A few things: it might be unflavoured but it left an odd slime-like feeling on my teeth. It also gave my drink the distinct smell/taste of Elmer's school glue. Worst of all, the reason for my overall poor review on this product that's been hyped up - the container is only filled halfway. It's not worth the price. And it's a complete waste of plastic.

I’ve been taking this for about two years, it’s worked wonders with me. On the one hand my hair has grown to chest length twice in 8 months after growing it out and cutting it to shoulder length and my nails have grown stronger faster and healthier, my skin feels more hydrated and plump and on a good day even glowing! On the other hand. I’ve always had to take hyaluronic acid supplements for my joints, I’ve had multiple acl tears on my knees and I had a bad car accident that displaced my vertebrae, and collagen peptides has been the best supplement, it helps with the stiffness and makes mobility in the humid and cold NYC Winter much better.

I've been putting a scoop in my coffee every morning for a couple months now, and my nails are already SO much stronger than they were before. This product has absolutely no taste -- I blend it in my coffee, and it adds a little protein boost for my morning run, too. Love it and will not stop using this anytime soon!
