Both my husband and me take it every morning with our breakfast. For me I have noticed my skin seems brighter and my niece noticed the change on my skin as well. My husband is taking collagen mainly for his joints and it’s a bit early for him to comment. Will get back in a couple more months…

I've been using for years now and think it does help. But, I had to leave this review and take off a star for the ridiculously terrible new packaging. A thin waterproof plastic bag, i.e. what coffee comes in, would be infinitely better than this cardboard junk that's neither openable, waterproof, nor reusable. And, it's a LOT of cardboard.

I bought it after hearing multiple reviews saying that this was the fine quality collagen . It’s got good nutritional value considering the amount of collagen and protein. I mix it with water, the broth he taste is evident, so I’m reluctant to put it in my Coffee or tea but I’ll have to try it, pretty good otherwise hopefully it’s doing what it supposed to do! I've just received my second order of the Collagen Peptides and I cannot stress how much of a game changer it has been for me. Before starting it, I was losing quite a bit of my hair from stress and breaking off strands in the shower. I stumbled upon a VP ad one day and decided to give it a try since it claimed to promote healthy skin, hair, and nails. I love this stuff!! I have had little to no hair breakage and my hair feels thicker and stronger! The added benefits to my joints and skin are a definite plus. I add it to my morning coffee and am good for the day. Starting 7th month. My receding hair line at temples has regrown. Overall hair seems thicker, sadly on arms and legs as well. My eyebrows are thicker and eyelashes are much longer. Get compliments on my skin all the time and I am 72 years old. My nails are much stronger and longer and toe nail fungus (gross) has vanished. This product tastes OK and I take it everyday. It is pricey but worth it as far as I am concerned.

I have been using the unflavored vital proteins for over 2 years. One scoop in my coffee every morning. I used to love this product until now. It is obvious the formula has changed. The powder is a bit thicker and consistency does not mix as well. There is an aftertaste whereas prior there was not. Very disappointed considering I used to love this product.

You can see the distinct differences clearly by carefully reading the two labels side by side. “Original” and “Advanced” 1. Color has changed. This formula is pure white unlike the original that has brown speckles throughout. 2. The “Original” formula that I ordered has the Amino Acid Profile listed on the label. This “Advanced” formula does not. Why is this now missing on the “Advanced” label? 3. The “Original” formulation is Kosher, this “Advanced” formula is not! 4. The “Original” formulation is Whole Thirty approved. This “Advanced” formula is not. 5. The “Original” formula label reads “Dairy FREE” and “Gluten FREE”. The Advanced formula label reads “Made without Dairy” and “Made without Gluten”indicating possible cross contamination with the “new” manufacturing process?? This new “Advanced” formula is not what I ordered and not what I need. If I cannot continue to get the “Original” formula, I will be canceling my subscription and I definitely want a refund for the “Advanced” formula version I just received today.
