I’ve been using this for a while, but the latest shipment is definitely off. I’m not sure if it’s a formula change or what, but the previous flavorless and easily dissolved product was amazing. This new jar has so many issues I’m not sure I want to use it. Not only will it not dissolve, but when it it is stirred in to my coffee it bubbles back up alarmingly and floats on top. Definitely not normal, and not sure this is safe to ingest. The removal of the plastic scoop is super annoying too, what was the point? Before this jar I would have left a 5-star review. Bummer because I’ve really enjoyed the product thus far.

I bought this on the recommendation from my daughter in law who swears by it. I was very hesitant but finally ordered it. When I received it I immediately started using it by putting 2 scoops into my morning tea. Faithfully I have been using this and I have never felt better. My energy level has increased tremendously. I am 64 years old and this has given me the energy to get my exercise routine back on track. My hair and nails and total appearance also have benefited.

I'm a longtime user of Vital Proteins - I started adding to my coffee about two years ago. Since then, I've noticed a positive improvement in my hair/skin/nails. I also think of it as the perfect way to start my day, because the protein content it delivers to my coffee allows me to eat a super light breakfast and still feel really satisfied. However, the reason I wrote this review is because of my husband's experience with VP collagen. He started using collagen in December 2020, when he happened to be having some general joint pain and also severe dry skin issues on his hands. Within two weeks of consuming collagen daily, he noticed significant improvement with both issues. He is now a total convert! Love this product and the subscription service makes it super convenient and more affordable; our house is never without a trusty blue tub of this stuff.

Packaging of this product has changed over the past year making it almost impossible to open the new package without spilling it all over. Although we appreciate the effort to eliminate plastic, it is very difficult to get through the paper and cardboard to access the powder. The insttructions do not make it clear how to get through the heavy paper and we have had to resort to knives to break through and rip it open. We are going to look for another collagen product that will be easier to open.

So far I'm really liking the product! It's a good source of clean protein - especially love adding it to my smoothies for an extra protein boost. Also love that it doesn't make my smoothie grainy or taste funky. I've only been using it for about a week, so not too sure yet about the other benefits.

Normally I buy the powder version and put it in my coffee in the mornings. I bought this because I'm doing IF and the calories would break my fast. I figured taking the capsules during my lunch would be easier as I sometimes eat out especially during weekdays. What I didn't know was I need to take TWELVE capsules to equal the two scoops of powder I normally use. TWELVE ... that's a lot. The product is EXCELLENT ... the means to take it (capsules), was not, in fact, easier.

i love your product and have been taking it over 2 years, however...the new packaging sucks! i followed directions by pinching the rim and it still took about 5 minutes, a knife and scissors to get it open. the cardboard was mutilated. it's a good thing i was pouring it into your older plastic container or i wouldn't have had anything to store it in. bring back the plastic, please!!!

Used the product in my tea daily for 5 weeks straight and didn’t really notice a difference UNTIL I removed protective hairstyle! My hair had never looked so healthy! It was shiny thick and strong. That was enough to convince me to make this product a priority in my everyday diet! People have also notice how supple my skin looks as well. I have been recommending this to everyone.

I had a subscription for years, then I had to stop for 12 months bc my son was having a reaction thru breastmilk. I was excited to use it again but it tastes terrible now!! I used to put it in my coffee, now the taste ruins my coffee. I stopped my subscription immediately. So sad that it’s not the same

I love this collagen. It mixes well and if flavorless. I add two scoops to my coffee every morning. The only thing I'd change is to have 30 servings in a can instead of 28 to match up with the auto-ship schedule. I end up out of collagen with two days until my next shipment arrives.
