I tried it the first time in hot tea and wasn’t crazy about the smell. I couldn’t taste it though, so I was fine. When I tried it again I tried mixing it with cold liquid and the taste was far from pleasant. If you use it, I highly suggest using it in strong tasting, hot drinks.

I have been using your product now for several years. No problems with it - one scoops goes in my coffee every morning. Finishing up another large container, but debating on whether or not to re-order. It’s costly for what you get. The container is no longer full, actually about half full. And no scoop. Luckily I saved the scoop from a couple containers back. Thinking I’m going to try another brand for now and compare the two. It may be that I find yours is comparable to other brands. We’ll see.

I'm been taking the unflavored peptides daily for over three years. It dissolves well in my coffee and is tasteless. However, about 10-15% of the tubs that I purchase have a terribly strong smell and taste. I keep in a cool, dry place so I'm not sure if it's a quality control issue? Smell the peptides first when you open the container. You'll know right away if it's bad.

I absolutely love this stuff. I’ve been using it close to a year now. I noticed a change in my hair & skin after completing my first tub of collagen. My hair used to break off and fall out easily. I love this collagen. I had been taking another collagen capsule form and can not say I NOTICED any difference. I started noticing changes about a week in on this collagen and I am 2nd month in. I made my first purchase through my dermatologist office after her talking about how much it changed her skin and now I am starting to notice that. My first change was digestion and how my stomach and body felt. I can not wait to see what each month brings. I also use the coconut coffee creamer and the lavender/lemon beauty collagen. I do 2 scoops of each one daily! I ALWAYS LOOK forward to my collagen/coconut coffee in my but first collagen coffee mug every morning! My skin is so soft!

I’ve been adding 2 scoops to my daily routine (1 in my coffee, 1 in my breakfast smoothie) and I cannot believe the difference in my joints. I have been suffering with arthritis in the base of my thumbs and after 1 month of Vital Proteins, it is undetectable. We are subscribers to VP Collagen Peptides and are generally pleased with it. My daughter is severely allergic to peanuts; before purchasing this product, I checked and was told that the product is "manufactured in a facility which processes milk, fish, and tree nuts", so it was ok for her. Imagine our surprise when we got the latest canister and found the label warning now says "manufactured in a facility which processes milk, fish, tree nuts, wheatgrass, and peanuts". We are of course disappointed that we'll no longer be able to purchase this (her allergist said that for my daughter, even the possibility of cross-contamination with peanuts is enough that we should avoid it). I notice that nowhere in the product description, ingredients, or FAQs was this change noted. I think that VP should include a photo of the label description and warnings on their website, so other families with allergies can be made aware before purchasing.

I would give this product 5 stars except for the amount of variation in the product. I was told that's because it's a natural product. I suppose that could be the reason that the powder sometimes dissolves in hot liquid and sometimes doesn't. Anyway, I love the stuff and believe it's helped my joints and hair and nails. Not sure anything can help my 60 year old skin, though!
