I'm still experimenting with this product. I've used it for about a week now and can see sure signs of my acne clearing up and my hair seeming a little longer than it normally would be without the product. The unflavored collagen peptides still have a flavor if used with the directed amount which is two scoops. That's the downside. I can only use one scoop and even then, I can still taste it faintly. I figured out a good trick- I mix mine with La Croix sparkling water. The carbonation masks the flavor. Just a little bit of advice for anyone who feels the same as me!

I love how it easily mixes into any liquid. That makes it so versatile. When I remember to take this, I notice an improvement in the crackling noise my knees make when bending them. I do a lot of hiking up mountains and with every step I take uphill, I hear a crunching noise in my knees. Very disconcerting. This product seems to help with consistent use. I've tried a few different brands of collagen peptides and this seems to be the best for flavor.

I have been a loyal customer for over six years, and now that you have added ascorbic acid and hyaluronic acid I can no longer buy your product. I am SO disappointed. When this was ONE simple ingredient it was one of the only safe protein powders on the market for people who have allergies and sensitivities to corn. It was repeatedly recommended in all of the corn allergy groups (over 10,000 members). Now this product could cause anaphylaxis and other health issues for people in this community. I am so disappointed. You have just lost a piece of your market by adding these ingredients, and I beg you to reconsider and go back to having ONE high quality ingredient. Simplicity in food products = more accessibility. Why mess with that? Sincerely, One very sad former customer.

Teaspoons, tablespoons and grams and label instructions, needing some guidance. If one rounded tablespoon of collagen peptides is about 15 grams, then it would follow that 4 tablespoons would be about 60 grams. The label on Vital Proteins Collagen peptides states “serving size 4 tablespoons (20 g)”. Am I missing something? Big difference in teaspoons and tablespoons. I would guess for 20 g dosage, 4 teaspoons would be closer to 20 g.

About a month and a half ago I started putting 2 scoops of Vital Protein Collagen Peptides in my coffee every morning ( totally flavorless and dissolves quickly). My hope was to relieve some joint pain, and if it helped with my skin, hair or nails, that would be an added bonus. I’m happy to report my joints feel much better and I’ve noticed my skin is tighter and my hair and nails are thicker and stronger. Pretty impressive! I know this might not be the answer for everyone, but it’s an easy way for me to feel better without the need for NSAID’s. So for me it’s worth every Penny!
