I’ve been using Vital Proteins for a few years. My hair, skin and nails definitely have improved. I do feel like it helps with overall joint pain too. It mixes well with everything and is flavorless, so it can go in coffee or a smoothie. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is the plastic container. Plastic waste is destroying this planet. This container says recyclable, but for plastics that’s only one cycle, and then it’s into the landfill. I really wish the company had an alternative to the big plastic tub.

I love love this collagen. I’m on my 3rd bottle now. I have noticed since the beginning how my hair and nails started growing fast. After about 6 months of taking I really started to notice a difference in the morning pain I’ve had for so long. The taste (of the plain/no flavor ones) just keeps getting worse and worse! It's so hard to tolerate and hide the strong smell and flavor of a product that's supposed to be "flavorless". I mix one scoop with strong coffee full of syrups, I tried it with sweet smoothies, I tried it with all kinds of teas, yet the taste of this is extremely overpowering and ruining my fresh drinks. I'm not new to their products, I've been a subscriber for years, but idk what they're doing now that's making the flavor so awful!

On my second tub and have noticed visible proof that hair, skin, and nails have improved, I suffer from hypothyroid and have always had issues with this, until vital proteins. I originally purchased Collagen Peptides hoping it would help with my knees. It has helped enough that I'm not taking a painkiller everyday. I'm more excited with how it's helped my skin. I have very red skin due to rosacea. I don't have the breakouts, but broken capillaries and redness to the point where I would not go out without makeup. My skin is no longer as red and has a smoother texture. I've put the collagen peptides on a scheduled reorder and am encouraging my teenage daughter to try it. My only issue is that this second container does not dissolve the same as the first container, sometimes leaving lumps and a white, foamy film at the top of my coffee. Because I drink it in my coffee I've never noticed a bad taste. If you're on the fence you should definitely try it.
