Hi Amy! Our apologies for the complications. Please note when your canister is filled, the powder does indeed fill most of the space in the canister - the powder naturally settles over time. Each canister includes a small mark labeled "Fill Line" located at the edge of the product label. The products are filled by weight rather than volume. Have any other questions or concerns?
