I love this stuff and have been adding it to my coffee for several years now. But the new packaging is AWFUL! Extremely difficult to open, especially for someone who has arthritic and/or slightly weakened hands. Who decided this was a good idea? I'm glad I saved a previous plastic tub. I will just use a box cutter to get into this dumb canister and pour it into the plastic tub.

Just found out this company was bought out by NESTLE!!! I noticed the quality has gone way down from many years ago and of course they were bought out by this mega corp. Its not only important to look at the ingredients of your food, but apparently who owns the company as well. I prefer to support people who actually care about your health — nestle owns many companies that conflict with my values. Will no longer be buying this product.

I buy the chocolate and use it in my coffee. Love this product and. Have purchased more than 25. In the beginning, they had a great little scoop, but that was discontinued, which was OK. Fortunately I had saved one. Now there’s this new cardboard packaging. I understand sustainability but my senior hands could just not get the top pulled off. I ended up having to take a sharp knife to the cardboard and butcher the leg to get the product out and then transfer it to another container please, please, find a happy in between I just cannot manage this container.

I have been using this product for about 8 months and it is amazing. My hairstylist recommend this product and I have fine thin hair. My hair is now to the middle of my back! My nails and skin are so much healthier. The new product packaging is great and easily opened. Thank you !

I began purchasing this product years ago and encouraged others to do the same. This product has gone down-hill , from good to trash. Initially the product contained five (5) types of collagen and was grass feed. It then stopped listing the types of collagen and "grass fed" on the label, the cost went from reasonable to extremely high, while the quality of the product drastically declined. Sam,s Club should not carry this product.

I bought this for the first time. Too early to tell how well it works but it does dissolve well and has no flavor. My only complaint is the serving information. According to the back of the canister, a serving size is 4 Tablespoons with about 34 servings in the canister. I didn't want to take that much from the start, so I made my serving size 2 Tablespoon once a day. So, I should have gotten about 68 servings from the canister. However, my canister, at 2 Tablespoons a day, only lasted 45 serving. I just finished it today and I started taking it on August 19. A little bit of difference you can understand, but a difference of 23 servings is way too much to ignore. I have one more canister that I will start taking tomorrow. I'm going to continue with 2T a day and see if this was just a fluke with one canister or if the info on the canister is off that much. To be continued.

I bought this less than a month ago and I was curious about whether we really are getting 34 servings per container so I wrote the date. I opened it on the lid of the container. Well…I didn’t get 34 servings. Using this every day, I only got 24 servings out of the jar. I am disappointed to see the least since I had been using this product for the past two years. I suppose I should be glad I was able to get it on sale, but I’m not.

I have a tub of your Vital Protein here, and I noticed a hair in it. I’ve been seeing black specks, and today I saw this hair. It’s probably a rat hair. I don’t have coarse black hair, nor does anyone in my family. I’m the only one using this product. As a consumer, I’m disgusted and overwhelmed that you can get away with poor quality control. Supplements have no governing body to ensure their safety for consumers. You keep raking in the profits while exploiting our desire to be healthy. You could ground up concrete and sell it as a wonder supplement, and we wouldn’t know the difference. Whole Foods people!

Apparently many commenters don't have opposable thumbs! I'm on my second container and didn't have a problem following the instructions or opening either one of them. I guess I'm highly evolved. I like the sustainable packaging and would rather deal with that than microplastics. The powder dissolves easily in hot liquids and doesn't have a flavor. If anything it adds a slight creaminess. I'll definitely continue to use it!

Have been using for over 2 years. Had problems with my knees. Minor surgery and rooster shots. Started taking after shots. Have not had pain in knees since. A twitch every once in a while. Also helped with shoulder surgery and recovery. Will keep using
