I've been using this product for six weeks and I can say that I have noticed a definite improvement in my fingernails. They used to split down into the flesh area on a regular basis and they are not doing that any more. It didn't seem to matter what I did to try to prevent the splitting from happening, it still happened. Collagen Peptides in my hot tea every morning and the splitting has ended. I am so thankful. Not only was it inconvenient to have torn nails, it hurt like the devil when it went down into the flesh area.

I'm in the process of experimenting with various vitamins, minerals, foods and lifestyle changes to improve the fucnction of my knees and joints. I added V.P. Collagen Peptides to the list from the beginning. I am a natural skeptic when it comes to claims made by companies and "reviews" from people I don't know. However at some point you can only read and research so much and have to decide to do something or pass on it. I'm very happy I added this product. While I still do have a long way to go to achieve the desired effects and goals I'm after, I've definitely noticed a huge improvement in my knees so far. It's enough of an improvement that I will order this again when my two large jars are gone. Please do read what I am saying carefully. I am in no way shape or form claiming this product alone will cure anything. Powder doed NOT dissolve or sink, it just floats on top, mixing it turns into snots and breaks up the gunk into smaller pieces. I forced myself to chug it about 4 or 5 times but it makes me sick to my stomach not sure if its from the thought of me drinking snots or suspicious powder. Unflavored? Yeah right! And it has a yucky smell! Dont mix it in water or you'll gag. If this isn't the grossest thing you'll ever make yourself drink i dont know what is.

Boasting about removing a plastic scoop while still packing the powder in a plastic container is stupid. It screams “profitability for the company masking as a care for the environment”. The inconvenience of no scoop along with the price increase has made this the last time I will buy Vital Proteins for my collagen.
