I find scoring around the lid with a knife, leaving 2 inches untouched opposite the pinch here writing, opens and closes easily. The lid remains attached. I also left the inside seal half open to make it easy to scrape to level off my scooper. I would rather have this container with no scooper vs. a plastic container with a scooper if it saves me money by still providing a quality product. This collagen is $15 cheaper than my favorite brand. The description of the ingredients and sources appear the same. The only difference I notice is my favorite brand makes my coffee creamier. Not worth paying $15 more for. Also, this brand dissolves quicker without lumping. As far as being effective compared to my favorite brand, I haven't noticed anything different so far. I hope this product will work out to have the same effectiveness. Being on a fixed income, every dollar saved counts. Saving money buying this product is a win if it has the same results.

I loaded with this peptide for 8 weeks in November last year, as suggested by Dr Axe. Following this, I supplemented with one does first thing in the morning with a vit C tab and continue to do so six months later. My only regret is not taking a photograph. I am tempted to stop and restart in order to convert any doubters but this was an expensive endeavor. I am in my late 40's with the usual signs of aging. I use numerous serums, anti=aging products and sun creams. I also have microneedling (annual), Caci (monthly) and LED (6 x month biannually) treatments. I've tried this with hot tea and hot coffee and both taste terrible. I started only doing one scoop which has helped but you can still taste a slight flavor and smell. I've read some reviews that said not to buy it from the website because they have bad batches...so maybe I'll give another store a try? Who knows, but this was definitely not flavorless...my boyfriend and I were absolutely gagging at the smell and taste (with 2 scoops, 1 scoop is bearable like I said). It also is a little annoying to mix. I dump the powder in and it immediately forms a big gloopy clump. You have to kind of "break open" the clump to let the inside powder out, really gross and weird. I haven't been taking it long enough so I can't speak to how well it actually works.

I have been taking the collagen with HA and vitamin C for about 7 months. I put it in my coffee every day and it’s been great for my hair and skin. I have it on auto ship and the last shipment I got is terrible! Doesn’t dissolve, leaves a film, and actually seems like less product. Not sure what changed but I am going to cancel my next shipment and see what else is out there. 2 stars because it was good for a while!

I purchased Vital Proteins Collagen a month ago and I used it daily in my morning coffee. I felt results in my joints less than two weeks that use to ache daily. I will continue to use it and purchase more. I recommended to my older sister. We are both in our early sixties.

Been using for a few months and it has improved the condition of my nails the most I would say. I had paper thin nails that split all the time and could never be without dip powder on them. It did take a few months of consistent use, but now my nails are strong and healthy, it’s never been this way my entire life, so I know it’s the powder that’s working. Highly recommend! I also had a lot of baby hairs and my hair is really healthy too.

I have been using your product for over a year now and while I feel the benefits of it, I am done with the struggle of opening the container. That tiny plastic band is so difficult to access and then it broke 7 times as I was pulling it off and had to use a nail to get under the band each time. If you decide to make an easier to access package I would consider purchasing again, but for now it’s goodbye.

I just opened my first container of original Collagen Peptides (unflavored). I was so excited to use it because I felt like I did so much research and finally found a product with no taste and was easily mixed with most liquids. I put one scoop in a 10 ounce glass of water and it turned into stringy sludge. It hasn’t dissolved at all and it’s stuck to the straw I used to stir it. All the reviews say it dissolves easily. This wouldn’t dissolve at all. Why? I guess I need to return it….

I've been looking for a way to keep a cup of coffee in my day but wanted some added benefits. Love that I can't taste it & that it's so easy to use. While hair and nails have never been much of an issue for me, I've noticed more of a glow in my skin & my digestion has improved! Looking forward to continuing my vital proteins journey to see what other benefits I'll notice!!
